My Favorite Limited Edition Things | Sephora Holiday 2020

The Sephora Holiday Savings Event starts in less than a week for Rouges, so it’s time for my yearly guide to my favorite limited edition releases that you’ll find at Sephora.  The list below includes both very recently-released–as in for the holiday season–limited edition offerings as well as some particularly impressive limited edition offerings that may have launched earlier this year but are still available.  As always, the list leans towards products that are harder to find beyond Sephora.

For a broader range of my all-time favorite formulas and products: Best Blushes, Best HighlightersBest Eyeshadows, Best Eyeshadow Palettes, Best Lipsticks, Best Lipglosses, Best Eye Brushes, Best Face Brushes.

If you’re curious about all of the holiday products and sets, in total, check out our Best of Holiday 2020 Palettes & Gifts, which automatically updates the rankings as new reviews go live.

Sephora’s holiday shopping event kicks off October 30th for Rouges, who have early access to the event.  Rouges get 20% off all purchases online and in-store with code HOLIDAYFUN.  Starting on November 3rd, VIBs get 15% off and Insiders can save 10% off with the same code, HOLIDAYFUN.  Insiders get 10% off beginning November 5th with code HOLIDAYFUN.  The event ends November 9th for all tiers.

Also, for those at 10% off and 15% off, always cross-reference the brands/products you have your eye on to see if they’re likely to go on sale for 15-25% off in the next few weeks.  Many brands participate in Black Friday/Cyber Monday offerings at least better than 10%.

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Y’know, I’m thinking I could get similar effects using CT Bejeweled in place of TF First Frost? Not duped, but the same vibe of warm-ish neutral shimmer that doesn’t run as warm as most of my brown family shimmers. Not 100% sure. But I do believe I’d reach for Bejeweled a lot. My absolute favorite has to be Interstellar Icon, though.

I just got Interstellar Icon and it’s gorgeous. But Blue Blood is a repeat and Hypnotique is really close to the blue in the Subliminal Dark Star Holiday release from a couple of years ago. You could probably recreate many of the looks from this palette with what you have. But I adore this color story. I’m glad I chose it. Divine Dahlia made me go “oooh!”. The Pat McGrath Quads have become my favorite.
