Fram-bois (350)

Marc Jacobs Beauty Fram-bois (350) Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon ($26.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark coral-red with warm undertones and fine, pink pearl. It had nearly full color coverage in a single pass, though it seemed to clump up slightly in places as it dried down. The texture felt creamy as it initially applied, but as it dried down, it felt thinner and very lightweight. There was slight color that pulled into my lip lines as the product dried down, though. On me, it lasted for nine hours and was non-drying.

Formula Overview

$26.00/0.07 oz. - $371.43 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to have "16-hour wear" with "one-swipe color" that has "ghost pearl" that gives it a "dimensional sheen." It is supposed to be a "liquid lipstick" but in a pencil form, so there is an actual dry down, though it seemed to take quite awhile to dry down on my arm (sometimes the swatch was still smudging after 30 minutes) and significantly less time applied to the lips (five to ten minutes). The texture was incredibly creamy where the pencil tip felt like it was melting as soon as I started to work with it (I might say that it was too soft). It was easy to apply product onto the lips, and the majority of the shades were nearly opaque to opaque in one layer. Some shades had a tendency to sit in my lip lines more than others. They felt lightweight after they dried down, and they were transfer-resistant until I ate. The wear time was eight to twelve hours, depending on how much eating was done. There was no scent or taste.

Plum N Get It (360)

Marc Jacobs Beauty Plum N Get It (360) Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon ($26.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a rich, reddish berry with cooler, fuchsia pearl. It had opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, and the color applied evenly across the lips without gathering into my lip lines. The texture was lightweight, creamy initially, and dried down within five minutes to a mostly transfer-resistant finish. The color stayed on well for 10 hours on me (and was non-drying) but did not make it through a second meal.

Fram-Bois just looks so fresh and pretty! Especially so for springtime. But I worry when I hear that it goes into the lip lines, though. Yet still, this one is just gorgeous looking!

Thanks. I noticed aroma/flavor listed about half way through the ingredient list, so I was afraid they’d be heavily scented or flavored which I cannot tolerate.
