The formula is supposed to have "16-hour wear" with "one-swipe color" that has "ghost pearl" that gives it a "dimensional sheen." It is supposed to be a "liquid lipstick" but in a pencil form, so there is an actual dry down, though it seemed to take quite awhile to dry down on my arm (sometimes the swatch was still smudging after 30 minutes) and significantly less time applied to the lips (five to ten minutes). The texture was incredibly creamy where the pencil tip felt like it was melting as soon as I started to work with it (I might say that it was too soft).
