Makeup Geek Secret Admirer Blush ($10.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a bright, light-medium lavender with cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. Coloured Raine Cute (PiP, $6.99) is darker (95% similar). Sephora Over the Moon (14) (DC, $14.00) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). Makeup Geek Secret Admirer (DC, $9.99) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). Lethal Cosmetics Hybrid (P, $15.50) is more shimmery, lighter, cooler (90% similar). MAC Azalea Blossom (LE, $32.00) is darker, warmer (90% similar). Give Me Glow Lilac Euphoria (P, $14.00) is lighter, cooler (90% similar). ColourPop Whirl (LE, $12.00) is more shimmery, lighter (85% similar). ColourPop Rain (LE, $8.00) is darker (90% similar). NARS Notorious (LE, $30.00) is lighter, warmer (85% similar). Fenty Beauty Drama Class (P, $20.00) is more shimmery, darker, glossier (90% similar). ColourPop Floating Lights (LE, $12.00) is lighter, warmer (85% similar). Clinique Pansy Pop (P, $21.00) is darker, warmer (85% similar). Coloured Raine Butterfly (P, $16.00) is darker, cooler (80% similar). Lethal Cosmetics Cryostasis (P, $15.50) is more shimmery, cooler (80% similar). About Face Score (P, $18.00) is more shimmery, darker, warmer (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

The formula is supposed to be pigmented, long-wearing, and blendable (for more on how it compares to the previous formula, check out this post). The reformulated shade is darker and cooler on the skin than in the previous formula, though I don’t think the difference is as apparent once it is diffused/blended out on the skin (compared to a heavier swatch). The texture was soft, smooth, and finely-milled, which made it blendable on the skin. It had good pigmentation and wore well for eight hours on me.

Wow, it’s so pretty! But so different in color from the original MUG formula. I have 3 of the dupes already ( Sephora Over the Moon, Rain, and Pansy Pop), but this one leans more purple and more cool then the others, but blushes tend to turn pinker on me, so I have to think about this one.

This is the oddest shade for me…the old one. In the winter, I can put it on with a trowel, and it’s a no show. It shows in summer, prob by contrast, when I darken up in summer. Think M recs it for porcelain tones, which I am not. Over the Moon, by contrast, is pretty much a highlighting shade. Sorry I missed a Rain. No need for a new one.

Did not look at you pic, before I commented. This, like many of your recent photos, looks unexpected…in this case, not very lavender. Is it my tablet, or the ROTS that it is layered over? Did it look more lavender in person than in the photo? SA looks NOTHING like your photo on me. Odder than my personal experience. Love to know if this looks like it does on you, on other T readers.

St I think it’s the iPad color values. Your left looks much more lavender/cooler/bluer and your right looks rosier. Great to know there is no foundation effect, although how you manage that one, with perfect foundation elsewhere, must be one of the holy mysteries.
I do find old SA pigmented. Think it just blends in with my winter coloring and contrasts more with darker skin (live at the beach.). Maybe the cooler tones are cooler in winter, and light exposure cancels the ‘sameness’ factor. Was glad to look onCP and see they still have Rain.
