Coloured Raine Butterfly Cream Blush ($16.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a brighter, medium-dark purple with cooler undertones and a semi-matte finish. It was richly pigmented where a little went a very, very long way. The texture was overly soft--it felt like it had already melted in the sun, but it felt that way even upon opening after being in 70-degree temperatures overnight. (It's not even sizzling here, as it IS winter at the time of testing!)
I would not recommend using fingertips as they displaced product readily, picked up a ridiculous amount of product when one needed the most minute amount of product to get high coverage with the formula. It dried down in about ten seconds to a mostly matte finish. When I used a fluffy, synthetic brush, I was able to apply and diffuse the product without much effort, but it played better with less matte/less dry skin. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.
