MAC x Jade Jagger Perfect Bronze Mineralize Blush Duo Review, Photos, Swatches
Perfect Bronze
MAC Perfect Bronze Mineralize Blush Duo ($28.00 for 0.11 oz.) contains a brighter pink and a deeper copper housed in the same compact. The compact could be larger to accommodate a blush brush more easily, which would make it more feasible to pick up one color at a time. It was possible, but I used smaller cheek brushes and was mindful of where I put my brush.
Perfect Bronze
LELimited Edition. $28.00.
Perfect Bronze (Left)
Perfect Bronze (Left) is a medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and flecks of gold micro-sparkle. The texture was fairly smooth, but the shimmer was larger in size, which gave it a rougher feel overall (but it did not feel glittery or truly rough!). It had sheer coverage, which was buildable to semi-opaque coverage with three layers. The powder blended out fairly well on me but did take a little longer to even out than the average blush. It stayed on well for eight hours.

Formula Overview
$29.00/0.11 oz. - $263.64 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to "build lightly" and "glide onto skin" for "luminous color." Most shades in the range have more medium to semi-opaque coverage, which tends to be buildable to opaque coverage, but most shades are not truly sheer in coverage. The texture used to be drier but has become smoother and more finely-milled over the years. The finish is typically luminous but can be metallic or almost matte depending on the particular shade. They wear between six and eight hours on me.

Perfect Bronze (Right)
Perfect Bronze (Right) is a medium-dark, rosy copper with warm undertones and fine golden pearl. It had mostly opaque coverage in a single layer (not quite the buidlable coverage the formula is supposed to have), though I could buff and sheer it down to medium coverage. The powder felt smooth, velvety, and wasn’t too powdery nor was it too firmly baked in the pan either. It blended out nicely and lasted for eight hours on me.

I think I really love the bronzer a bit more than this duo. Although, I would likely be swirling my brush around to pick up both shades, if this winds up swatching nicely on my skin. We’ll see!
Did you by any chance get to see how the colors looked when swirled together?
They just turn to a deep, pinky brown 🙂
Yes I do agree with you Christine, the compact should have been bigger. Lovely shades though.
Meh. Isn’t this a lot like Laura Geller’s baked products?
Yes, there are lots of brands with baked powders 🙂
Pretty, but I like your eye look and lipstick much more.
I really like the pink side; not sure I’d have any use at all for the bronze side but I too would like to see how the 2 shades swirled together would look.
I’m tempted by this, in spite of the so-so rating and all of the dupes I already own! It’s just so pretty 🙂
Perfect Bronze Left is like those sheeny blushes that I like, I think I’ll go for one of the dupes though.
Oh that pink is so pink! I picked this one up and can’t wait until it gets here!
