See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

This lipstick in collaboration with Caitlyn Jenner, and 100% of the selling price (not proceeds, not profits, $17 a pop!) goes to the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative. It’s an online exclusive, and it will be available for a limited time. The texture has slight drag until it warms up against the lip (as most Cremesheens do), and then it glides across and deposits smooth, mostly opaque coverage that is comfortable to wear and sits well on the lips. It lasted for four hours on me, and it was neither drying nor hydrating.

I like it! Exactly my kind of shade. I already have a couple dupes though (the Bite ones). I can’t be the only one who gravitates to the same shades all the time though!:)

This is just so pretty and super wearable! I’m so happy to hear that 100% of the sales go to charity. This is a total no-brainer for me, SOLD!

Pretty shade. But I am literally full up on “possible dupes” for this! Guerlain Air Kiss, Too Faced Pink Chocolate, Maybelline Touch Of Spice, and MAC Marque. Although to me, all four look quite different from each other, tbh. With MAC Mehr being close to UD Rapture is another possible dupe? And MAC Cosmo had a similar vibe, too. Quite doubtful I’ll be getting this one.

Emma Avatar

Truthfully, not a huge Caitlyn Jenner fan. However, the charity it’s going to is great. I’m glad that, for those who ARE fans of her and purchase this, the money is going to something awesome.

I agree but you’re much more broad minded than me. I’m finished with MAC. I can’t deal with anymore Jenner Kardashian propaganda.

It’s such a beautiful color, very flattering for many people, have been eyeing it for a while, will get it . Really great of MAC to donate the entire selling price to the cause, but kind of surprised they are only selling it online on MAC’s website. To raise the most money for the cause, I think they should also sell through MAC stores, and maybe through Nordstroms, Macy’s etc.

I purchased this lipstick for 2 reasons: how lovely it looked on you (and my fondness for creamsheen lipsticks) and upon learning that the purchase price will be donated in full to MAC Aids Fund Ttransgender Initiative.

I am glad your review is favourable as I ordered this as soon as it was available on launch day. My haste was partly due to advance publicity and partly to support the cause. Can’t wait for mine to arrive. (along with a new Skinfinish and PLW concealer)

Tammy B Avatar

Glad to hear this lipstick performed well, as I ordered it before your review was posted. Your whole look is just lovely, all the products look very nice. That tarte foundation does look pretty on the skin, I might go to Sephora tomorrow and try it out. Did you mix any type of liquid luminzer into the foundation in this photo?

Pretty lipstick, interesting that there’s already a few dupes. I like the Cremesheen formula but it does tend to suffuse out beyond my lipline, even with lipliner. I don’t have significant lines around my lips but my lips are slowly starting to lose their definition ?.

There is a side-by-side comparison tool on every review page in the sidebar (desktop/tablet) and underneath the post (mobile) that you can pull up any two swatches I’ve done before. I’m pretty slow to reply, so that’s a heads up if you want a faster answer rather than waiting for me!

Glad to see this got a good review as it’s a good every day type of shade for many and since MAC is giving 100% of the selling price (yay!) to the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative, I would think it will be very popular!

I want…. Totally in love … Wanted a reddish/ rosy nude since a long time. My lips are rosy… And any other color based nude totally washes me out or looks too artificial on me. I wanted a rosy nude since very very long…. But why is it online exclusive. How to get it in my country????.

Thanks for your post. Your makeup here is so beautiful!
I just received mine that I ordered. I think donating the funds is awesome. I think the color is pretty. I do not agree with some things Caitlyn says, but I do respect her doing her thing, and
I do agree with her on this lipstick 🙂

I’m not buying MAC because I don’t buy non cruelty free, but this is a good cause. I might just plop $17 down as a donation instead. This is a great colour with you, though, and I’m very glad they made the charity shade such a wearable, practical shade.

Angelica Avatar

Pass on this one – looks way too similar to many colours out there (including the ones listed).
Nice colour, but I was hoping for something a little more unique.

Rebekah Avatar

This is almost identical to Mac Mystical! I’ve swatched them side by side and am so excited to essentially be able to purchase my all-time favorite lipstick again!

Laura_Lou Avatar

Random thought… Why isn’t this in Viva Glam packaging? It’s a Viva Glam lipstick but it doesn’t have the pretty red casing, just the usual silver/black. I don’t mind, I still bought two, I just wondered why it’s different

Neeta Joshi Avatar

I bought this for the cause as well and I liked the color. It is a little lighter than I had thought it would be. What I don’t like is that it wipes off/vanishes very quickly. It is not long lasting at all. I wish they improve the formula. It feels too runny.
