MAC Uplifting Mineralize Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
MAC Uplifting Mineralize Blush
MAC Uplifting Mineralize Blush ($27.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “peach with bright orange marble.” It’s a lightened, slightly muted, orange with hints of brown and a metallic sheen. There is a fair amount of silver sparkle running through it, too.
Too Faced Luminous Peach (LE) is darker, less sparkly. MAC Style Cast (LE, $21.00) is less sparkly. MAC Highlighter (LE, $30.00) is less sparkly. Becca Guava/Moonstone (P, $27.00) is less sparkly. MAC Fairly Precious (LE, $30.00) is similar. MAC Perfectly Poised (Outer) (LE, $30.00) is darker. NARS Realm of the Senses #3 (LE, $29.00) is less sparkly. MAC Trace Gold (P, $21.00) is darker, less sparkly. MAC Center of the Universe (LE, $30.00) is darker. MAC Warmth of Coral (LE, $27.00) is darker, less sparkly. MAC Solar Ray (LE, $27.00) is darker. MAC Blazing Haute (LE, $25.00) is darker, less sparkly. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
This shade will launch on December 26th in-stores and pop-up a bit earlier on MAC’s website on the 23rd. Like Please Yourself, the finish is more sparkly, and with this particular shade, almost metallic, too. I noticed this one emphasized pores more than the other blush as a result of the very shimmery finish. It also seemed to go on lighter than it appeared, so it ended up as more of a slightly warming highlighter on my skin tone (NC25/NC30 for reference). The texture was soft but almost felt dry, as I could feel the sparkly bits. The color wore well for six and a half hours on me, and there was a lot of sparkle migration over time (it was everywhere).

I love this one too, but I’m going to heed your warning about the sparkle :/
🙁 It’s SO sparkly, which is pretty in a way but less so when it is everywhere.
these blushes are so beautiful. can I have everything in sparkle finish? haha
Do you think you’ll pick this one up, Dani?
This is the one that I was considering of the 2 blushes. I am so glad you reviewed it. I am having issues w/ pores and I don’t want to wear any product that will emphasize that! Thanks. you are awesome!
No problem, Zully! Glad I could help!
I don’t think this color wil be great for my cool fair skintone, but I really love the print in this collection <3
The print is nifty!
Too warm for me!
That’s too bad 🙁
VERY pretty – I love these colors that are somewhat unique.
That is a good point 🙂
Very pretty!
Its so light! I expected more peach. It sure it pretty in the pan 🙂
I couldn’t take the level of glitter and frost on my cheeks. I know it would drive my bf nuts, too, LOL! Whenever he seems a glitter on my face, be becomes fixated on removing it. 😛
Pretty but I can pass!
I was really hoping this would be more blush-y lol. It seems like more of a highlight to me. Still beautiful though!
That is a sparkly orange thing! 😀 It looks great on you – I’m not sure how it would turn out on me, but it makes me want to wear it as an eyeshadow with navy clothes…
Technically, though, I have UD Chopper for that purpose, LOL!
Hi Christine,
I was about to buy it but i think i’ll pass cause too shiny for me
It is jut a pity cause i like the pattern.. I think i Will take the Brown
Eyeshadow instead. Thanks for the review. You made my decision.
A very pretty blush that I think will suit nearly everyone. Really suits you Christine.
This blush and the Touch the Earth lipstick are both my favorites out of the collection. Will definitely grab them both!
Would this be similar to Fun&Games blush from the Hello Kitty collection? I LOVED that blush, and have not seen it come back out (unless missed it). I can’t seem to find a good dupe for it either:(
Fun & Games is a lot darker and wayyy less shimmery!
It looks so sparkly on the swatch but it really makes you glow rather than look disco-ball..ish lol I do love the glow.
The blush looks so gorgeous in the pan but wish the sparkles had been little less.. :-/ I think it would better as a highlighter than blush for warm indian skintones or may be on top of matte blush for shiny cheeks.. 🙂
Yeah, sparkle overload 🙁 Otherwise I like the look of it though. And a random side note, I love your earrings 🙂
