MAC Mineralize Blush is a blush that retails for $29.00 and contains 0.11 oz. ($263.64 per ounce). There are 64 shades in our database.

Editor's Review

The formula is supposed to "build lightly" and "glide onto skin" for "luminous color." Most shades in the range have more medium to semi-opaque coverage, which tends to be buildable to opaque coverage, but most shades are not truly sheer in coverage. The texture used to be drier but has become smoother and more finely-milled over the years. The finish is typically luminous but can be metallic or almost matte depending on the particular shade. They wear between six and eight hours on me.

Claims / Ingredients

Baked minerals refined into a powder formula provide an exceptionally sheer application. Lightweight formula glides onto skin to achieve luminous colour that builds lightly, layer after layer, without heavy coverage. Veils and enhances the cheekbones with a pearlized shimmer.

I never knew it was possible to miss a product as much as I miss this blusher. I purchased this early on in my makeup days and proceeded to purchase two more backups. I’ve been out of this beauty for over a year and steadily purchasing any dupe that I run across. So far nothing has quite lives up to how this naturally flushed blush looked on my skin.

I've had this for at least a year now and I've barely made a dent in it! I have very pale skin and I use just a little of this to a little color into my face after I put on foundation

Great colour, especially for summer, but its sparkle gives the empression of a metallic blush. I find it perfect paired with a red lip for a summer night out, but I wouldn't wear it during the day.

Really good nude blush for someone with a fair skin and cool undertones. It pairs well with any look. I almost always take it with my when I travel!

Several years ago, because of my own foolish attempt to be "sensible", I missed out on MAC's Subtle Breeze Mineralize Blush. I did buy its warmer companion, Early Morning, and my love affair with the finish (not so much the colour, though), I've been kicking myself ever since and I've been waiting for a new MAC Mineralize Blush release that would rival Subtle Breeze. Having read the review of Sweet Sentiment, I decided that this might be just what I have been waiting for. In store, swatched on my hand, this didn't look very pigmented at all and I was of 2 minds with regard to buying it but having used my new one (rather than the counter tester) several times, I am thrilled. The colour is a perfect pretty, clean shade of pink. It buffs out to a very natural looking flush of colour and it wore exceedingly well on me, garnering several compliments when I wore it through a long work day followed by a long evening helping my sister in law with a rehearsal dinner she was hosting.

I got this blush based on the colour description here at Temptalia. From the review, I was expecting it to be more pink and less coral than it actually turned out to be. In hindsight, I realize I probably should have got Subtle Breeze instead. What I do love about Early Morning is the absolutely lovely sheen it develops as I blend/buff it out. That finish is so wonderful. I just wish it were a more flattering shade for me and, since Subtle Breeze is part of the same launch/collection, I'm guessing it would have the same beautiful finish but in a more cool toned/pink shade which looks better with my skintone. So while this is beautiful, the colour isn't the best for me.

This barely shows up on my skin, which I was pretty sad about! I usually don't like giving into MAC limited editions, but I couldn't resist this peachy shade! I have light-medium warm skin (more light-medium in the summer, pretty light through winter) and I was hoping this would show up on me more as I became more pale, but no go. I'll be giving this to my mom who is much more pale than I am, hopefully it works better for her.

Out of all the Mineralize blushes from the Tropical Taboo collection, this was the strangest. I thought it looked a little odd when Christine did her review but I really liked the orange shade. If both the orange and brown were sold seperately they would be winners. To use them together is hard work as the brown is too dark and makes the complexion look a little dirty. The only way to get the colour to look good is to switch between orange and brown but it does give a beautiful finish and is long-wearing. I'm on the fence with this one!

This is a highly pigmented blush, I literally have to touch this lightly with my brush or it'll pick up too much product. The blush colour is so pretty (bright pink), is easy to use/ blendable and and the texture is really soft & smooth.

This blush is truly stunning. The warm plum/pink shade mixed with gold gives a warm luminous sheen. It is highly pigmented therefore you only need to use a little. It blends out well and lasted around 6 hours on me. This works as a great blush/ highlighter in one!

This is my go-to blush for that natural, dewy glow. Amber Glow is a perfect match if you're pale, as it really warms up your skin without looking like you've slathered yourself in bronzer. It gives a nice, peachy sheen to your cheeks that I can't get enough of. Texture can be dusty, but blends like a dream.
