MAC Sultry Iced Delights Lip Bag Review, Photos, Swatches

MAC Sultry Iced Delights Lip Bag

MAC Ice Parade: Sultry Iced Delights Lip Bag

MAC Sultry Iced Delights Lip Bag ($38.00) includes three full-sized lip products: Deelight (mid-tone neutral), I Love Winter (passion fruit), and Boldly Bare (dirty red brown). I’m not sure how they managed it, but the lip pencil is listed as 0.05 oz., which is full-sized!

  • Deelight is a fleshy pink with semi-sheer color; it mostly gives my lips a pinker, lusher look overall without a lot of color. This is part of the permanent range.
  • I Love Winter is a medium-dark pink with a hint of coral (just the barest amount!) with opaque color coverage. It has a cremesheen finish, which I do find to be a little drying and less creamy. Chanel Empire is brighter and more vibrant. Giorgio Armani #507 is a touch lighter. MAC Mehr is less glossy and a bit lighter.
  • Boldly Bare is a orange-toned neutral brown.

The value of the the smaller kits is good–you get three full-sized lip products (~$42), so you’re getting more than what you’d receive if you purchased them individually (assuming you could). The Cremesheen Glass formula is not very long-wearing (two hours or so with a shade like Deelight), while the Cremesheen lipstick formula is a bit drying and doesn’t have as much glide as is ideal.

Wow, Christine does anything ever look bad on you? I’m jealouse!

Thank you for doing these, I always wait for your swatches and reviews before I purchase anything.

I love winter is gorgeous!! Christine what r u wearing on ur cheeks and face? They look so glowy and dewy! Do u fill in ur brows! Wish this lipstick was sold separately!

Cremesheens are the only MAC lipstick formula that I don’t find drying. I really like that colour and would buy it if it were available separately. Cremesheen glosses last less than an hour on me and that lip pencil is too warm to go with the rest of the set.

I agree about the lip pencil. I got a MAC set earlier with a very pale pink lip color and then this mahogany brown lip pencil. When worn together they make me look like I stepped out of the 90’s, although I think that’s coming back around.

when i saw the promo photos for this collection i was waiting really long for the i love winter lipstick and im quite dissapointed i have to say… i have been waiting for a lipstick more *long pause* … like sth more special :\

Wasn’t planning on it, but I picked this up today! I’m a darker skintone (9.0 in MAC Matchmaster), and this comes out pinker than I thought it would. It’s still lovely though.

Is the lip pencil really full-sized? O_O; Because I bought my first reg. one in Cork, and side-by-side this one is like half the normal size, if not less.

I have the box as well and it says 0.05oz. But is the regular lip pencil really that tiny? Because it looks a lot longer on the MAC website… o_o

That’s so strange– the MAC website says that it’s a promo-sized lip pencil. I wonder if it is fatter than the regular lip pencils so that it could fit into the gift bag.

I don’t mind the cremesheen formula in listicks. I Love Winter looks very very pretty. But I’m banning MAC currently. I have wanted the GA #507 for ages so it’s good to know it’s similar! I’ll probably pick that up instead.

I’m so sad! I swatched this last night hoping the lipstick would be a sort of counterpart to Deelight, because I love that color. But as usual, the lipstick turned orange on me. Darn my yellow undertones! I guess I’ll sniff around the perm line to find the lipstick that I wanted this one to be and pick up Deelight later.
