MAC Sheen Supreme Lipglass (Part 2)
MAC Sheen Supreme Lipglass ($19.00 for 0.08 fl. oz.) is a new and limited edition formula releasing next Thursday, March 1st. This post features these shades: Fuji Pink (pale peach with low level pearl), Imperial Red (bright rose with pearl), Jasmine Honey (light cream beige), Mango Sheen (bright coral with pearl), Moon Beach (warm light beige with pearl), and Sweet Bean (cool beige with pearl).
- Fuji Pink is a milky peach with just a smattering of white shimmer. It lightens lips a bit. Shades like Bobbi Brown Bare Sparkle, Giorgio Armani #500, and Guerlain Rose in Bloom are all similar (which is just naming a few).
- Imperial Red is a darkened pink with fine gold shimmer. The color coverage is semi-opaque and surprisingly even. MAC Totally Bang has a similar base color but the shimmer is different. MAC Radiant Jewels is redder.
- Jasmine Honey is a milky beige with white-beige shimmer. It is a little lighter than Fuji Pink, but the two are hardly polar opposites. Again, shades like Bobbi Brown Bare Sparkle, Giorgio Armani #500, and Guerlain Rose in Bloom are all similar (which is just naming a few).
- Mango Sheen is an orange-red with gold-copper shimmer. This shade has more semi-opaque color, but it doesn’t apply as evenly as Imperial Red. Revlon Strawberry is similar but a touch pinker. MAC Geo Pink is more orange. MAC Double Dare is similar in color but doesn’t have the gold shimmer.
- Moon Beach is a sheer pearly beige. It’s mostly shimmer on my lips, so there are lots of sheer lipgloss dupes.
- Sweet Bean is a mix of coppery-red, rose, and white shimmer. MAC Superglass reminded me of the way this looks, sort of like confetti, but I don’t know of an exact dupe. This one gets a little gritty after it wears away.
Please see part one for a review of the formula.

Are these comparable to the Stila Lipglazes or the ELF lip glosses? They look quite similar..im trying to decide whether to get them because i own a LOT of stila lip glazes…are they better…different formula????
Please reply.
xoxo,
Gabby
Sorry – I don’t have any Stila Lip Glazes any more, and it’s been long enough since I’ve tried one that it’s hard for me to recall exactly how it feels.
I love the colour of Imperial Red in these swatches! Good to hear it has a quite een coverage :).
Mango Sheen and Imperial Red look pretty. Its too bad they get patchy and uneven.
I like Imperial Red and Mango Sheen, though from your description of the formula I’ll probably stay away from these. It’s a pity!
I was actually really excited about these glosses but seeing the swatches and your review on the formula… ehh.. I might just pass.
The descritions didn’t sound too appealing to me but they actually look really gorgeous on you!
I like Mango Sheen. It would be nice for my spring looks. 🙂
I really love imperial red!It would be a perfect everyday lipgloss for me. I just wish there were some closer dupes. I’m not impressed with how much product it holds if it’s the same like dazzleglass either… otherwise I’d buy it
Isn’t 0.08 only about 10 applications?
Where did you get that number?
From a Mac employee here in Germany. (She seemed a bit discouraged about some of the prices and sizes lately)
I’d definitely say more than 10 uses – I have some glosses that are small in size that I know I’ve used more than ten times, and I haven’t been trying to conserve at all, lol! I think if people were going through a tube of gloss in a week or less, we’d hear more of a fuss over say Dazzleglass, Cremesheen Glass, etc.
That doesn’t seem possible, but after noticing how quickly I was using up my Guerlain Terracotta Gloss this morning, I compared the amounts of all my lipglosses. Even the GTG, the least generous, was over twice as much as that at 1.7 oz/5ml. This is cheaper I guess, but it does seem like it wouldn’t last long at all.
I was kind a curious about these ones but I’m glad they’re nothing special.
Love your lip product reviews Christine; very much appreciate the detailed information. Also, I really use your lip swatches a lot because of your lip freckle! It’s very cute……and it’s a great reference for looking at online pictures to determine the color depth 🙂 Thanks for the time you take to do these in-depth reviews. BTW, MAC is really stepping down their game in the last couple of years.
UGH. It makes me so sad that we can’t get a positive review of MAC products lately. Why MAC? Why??
If Imperial Red was a regular size gloss, I would totally grab it, but $19 for that tiny amount? Gosh.
Welp…That’s Disappointing Im Only I Drawn To 2 Shades;Imperial Red And Mango Sheen
Everything Else Is Too Sheer For Liking’.Oh Well That’s Just Means More $ To Save For The So Reel/Reel Sexy Collection
Imperial Red looks gorgeous. I won’t be getting it due to the packaging though.
I’ll stick with my Hard Candy Button Your Lip – Brush On Push Button Lip Gloss Pen. I do so thoroughly appropriate your reviewing these.
its too bad about the click-pen thing. sidebar, all of these look fantastic on you, sheesh. lucky girl!
Hi Christine, What eyeliner are you wearing? (green) Its lovely x
