It had semi-opaque color coverage–rather pigmented for a Cremesheen Glass, which is a sheerer coverage formula–that went on evenly but some color pulled into lip lines. The texture was smooth, creamy, and comfortable to wear over the four hours this shade lasted. The formula was hydrating while worn. ColourPop Fudge Yeah (LE, $10.00) is warmer (95% similar). The application, however, left a bit to be desired as it didn’t go on as evenly as one would wish, and I had some color darken my lip lines. This shade wore well for four hours and was moisturizing. I like It’s a Strike, but would definitely go with the vamplify formula dupe over this.
Vamplify is my fave MAC gloss formula – wish they’d make it permanent!
These are all pretty! King Pin brings back memories of ’90s brown
They are pretty!
These look really nice on you…especially with the It’s a Strike eye shadows!
Thanks, Mary!
It’s a Strike and Kingpin look great! I really love the Cremesheen formula even if the wear time isn’t that great–it’s just so comfortable to wear. Can’t wait to buy these!
They do feel really nice on the lips!
It’s A Strike is definitely my favorite shade here.
Yay!
So pretty! And really nice pigmentation and coverage for Cremesheen Glass, too! It’s a formula that I happen to like for casual lipstick toppers or a wear-around-the-house type of gloss. Throw A Spare and Spare Me are my favorites. With both as toppers. Right Up My Alley is the only one I’d wear with just a lip liner, but no lipstick underneath.
They are unusually pigmented for Cremesheen Glasses!
These are all much better and more exciting than I thought they would be. Gonna have to study the dupe lists and see what I have already.
They are nice – I think it’s actually the opacity that makes them better (even though it is a sheerer formula), because they aren’t as streaky as the milkier shades usually are!
Lovely glosses, aside from the first one. I’m surprised how much I like the brown one.
They were nicer than I thought (just as glosses, excluding opacity claims!) they were going to be!
The translucency of King Pin actually makes it look pretty unique to and pretty to me. Not sure I’d wear it enough to make it worth the purchase, but that one is surprisingly pretty.
It is lovely on!
Oooo the last three have my name all over them!! I would get them if A. they had more product in the tube. and B. If MAC wasn’t so expensive here in Canada!!
I’ll be going through my stash to try and make a similar effect!!
Thank you Christine!!
No problem, Shannon! 🙂
Throw a Spare is so gorgeous but I literally just bought Bubble Butt (lol…so funny writing that) I also really like Right Up My Alley
lol! That name is hilarious 😉
Right Up My Alley is a pretty color, but none of these particularly strike me. (I showed a lot of restraint by ignoring all of those pun opportunities, btw. You are welcome. lol)
Hahaha! 😉
Spare Me and It’s a Strike are calling my name. Love all the shades. MAC Cresmeheen is one of my favorite lipgloss formulas.
The Cremesheen formula is really comfy!
