MAC It’s a Strike Cremesheen Glass ($21.00 for 0.09 fl. oz.) is described as a “soft nude pink.” It’s a light-medium pinky-mauve with warm undertones and a cream finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage that went on fairly evenly and had minimal settling. The gloss lasted for three hours and was lightly hydrating while worn. MAC King Pin Cremesheen Glass ($21.00 for 0.09 fl. oz.) is described as a “deep chocolate mauve.” It’s a deep brown with subtle, warm undertones and a cream finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage–rather pigmented for a Cremesheen Glass, which is a sheerer coverage formula–that went on evenly but some color pulled into lip lines. The texture was smooth, creamy, and comfortable to wear over the four hours this shade lasted. The formula was hydrating while worn. NARS Area (P, $26.00) is darker (85% similar). NARS Mars (P, $26.00) is lighter (85% similar). Bite Beauty French Press (LE, $22.00) is brighter, warmer (85% similar). Maybelline Retro (P, $7.99) is darker, cooler (85% similar). MAC Spare Me Cremesheen Glass ($21.00 for 0.09 fl. oz.) is described as a “dark purple.” It’s a dark berry with cool undertones and a jelly-like finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation paired with a smooth, lightweight texture. The application, however, left a bit to be desired as it didn’t go on as evenly as one would wish, and I had some color darken my lip lines. This shade wore well for four hours and was moisturizing. MAC Saucy Little Thing (P, $17.50) is cooler (95% similar). NARS Promise (LE, $26.00) is lighter (90% similar). MAC At Your Best You Are (LE, $17.50) is cooler (90% similar). It had semi-sheer color coverage that went on evenly and smoothly without settling into lip lines. The texture was fairly smooth, though I could feel a couple of the sparkles if I pressed my lips together. This shade lasted for three hours on me and was lightly hydrating. Colour Pop Kink (LE, $6.00) is lighter (95% similar). Urban Decay Tongue Tied (LE, $20.00) is more shimmery, brighter (95% similar). MAC Queen P (LE, $17.50) is more shimmery, lighter (90% similar). It’s a Strike and Kingpin look great! I really love the Cremesheen formula even if the wear time isn’t that great–it’s just so comfortable to wear. Can’t wait to buy these!

So pretty! And really nice pigmentation and coverage for Cremesheen Glass, too! It’s a formula that I happen to like for casual lipstick toppers or a wear-around-the-house type of gloss. Throw A Spare and Spare Me are my favorites. With both as toppers. Right Up My Alley is the only one I’d wear with just a lip liner, but no lipstick underneath.

These are all much better and more exciting than I thought they would be. Gonna have to study the dupe lists and see what I have already.

They are nice – I think it’s actually the opacity that makes them better (even though it is a sheerer formula), because they aren’t as streaky as the milkier shades usually are!

The translucency of King Pin actually makes it look pretty unique to and pretty to me. Not sure I’d wear it enough to make it worth the purchase, but that one is surprisingly pretty.

Oooo the last three have my name all over them!! I would get them if A. they had more product in the tube. and B. If MAC wasn’t so expensive here in Canada!!

I’ll be going through my stash to try and make a similar effect!!

Thank you Christine!!

Throw a Spare is so gorgeous but I literally just bought Bubble Butt (lol…so funny writing that) I also really like Right Up My Alley

Right Up My Alley is a pretty color, but none of these particularly strike me. (I showed a lot of restraint by ignoring all of those pun opportunities, btw. You are welcome. lol)
