MAC Fleur d'Coral, Sugar Sweet Cameo, Yash Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Fleur d'Coral
MAC Fleur d’Coral Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a light, pink-leaning coral with warm undertones and a natural sheen. It had a “Lustre” finish, which is the brand’s sheerer (on purpose) coverage formula; this particular shade had semi-sheer coverage that was buildable to medium coverage with a second layer. The texture was emollient, lightweight, and thin but didn’t feel clingy, and there was a touch of product that sank into my deeper lip lines but wasn’t enough to be noticeable in person (just in the close-up photos). It lasted well for two and a half hours and was non-drying over time.

MAC Lipstick comes in a variety of finishes, and the pigmentation and wear tend to be dependent on the finish. The sheer finishes, like Lustres, tend to wear for only a couple of hours and have sheer coverage (as designed) and are non-drying.
Some of the original Matte shades have a stiffer, drier formula, while newer ones have a more velvety, silicone-feel to them, and the latter are creamier, more comfortable to wear, and easier to apply, but most Matte shades are quite pigmented and long-wearing, though some are drying.
The Amplified and Satin finishes tend to have good pigmentation, lightly creamy to moderately creamy consistencies with a bit of shine, and moderate to long wear with deeper, richer shades wearing longer. The Frost and Metallic finishes have the most variance between shades with coverage ranging from semi-sheer to opaque with average wear and non-drying to slightly drying formulas. All MAC lipsticks are vanilla-scented but have no discernible taste.

Sugar Sweet Cameo
MAC Sugar Sweet Cameo Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a brighter, light-medium pink-coral with moderate, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had rich color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly in a single layer without tugging my lips during application. The texture was dense without being overly thick or too firm in the tube. There was a smidgen of product that sank into my deeper lip lines but wasn’t apparent to the eye in person. It stayed on nicely for four and a half hours and felt non-drying.

Yash
MAC Yash Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a light, muted brown with subtle, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, though it seemed to separate along my deeper lip lines due to the formula being a bit creamier and thicker overall. This is an existing shade, and I don’t recall having the separation issue in prior applications, but I didn’t feel like my lips were in bad condition (if anything, my lips would have been quite smooth by the time I applied this shade!). It wore well for four and a half hours and felt a touch hydrating over time.

None of these shades appeal to me, but I’m just here to say how much I despise this new packaging. It looks like cheap DS lipstick.
Not that I was planning on getting it in the clear packaging, but Yash is a beautiful shade of nude on me. It’s a toss up between it and ND Noa. Both are perfection. This Yash does appear thicker looking and not as matte. I actually like that little change in formula, but I’d definitely be wearing my Prep & Prime Lips under it!
Yash is a beautiful nude, i may try it in this formula.
Sugar Sweet Cameo is a lovely coral shade. I found Yash to be too much a nude looking shade that could end up making your lips look lifeless.
MAC Sugar Sweet Cameo is such a pretty coral. Pink leaning, but not too pink.
