MAC Calypso Beat Cremesheen Glass

MAC Calypso Beat Cremesheen Glass ($20.00 for 0.09 fl. oz.) is described as a “neutral pink with pearl.” It’s a light-medium, pink-coral with wamr undertones and white shimmer. It had semi-sheer color payoff with a smooth, lightweight texture that was non-tacky and comfortable to wear, though it emphasized lip lines with its lighter color. On me, it wore for two and a half hours and was lightly hydrating. MAC On the Scene (LE, $20.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). NARS Chelsea Girls (P, $26.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). MAC Enchanter Cremesheen Glass ($20.00 for 0.09 fl. oz.) is described as a “copper brown with pearl.” It’s a medium-dark, reddisdh copper with warm undertones and fine, copper shimmer. It had semi-sheer color coverage that applied fairly evenly. The color emphasize lip lines for me, but at least it didn’t look splotchy, as many of the darker Cremesheen Glasses have in the past. The texture was lightweight, creamy, and comfortable to wear. It lasted for three hours on me and was hydrating. Chanel Chene Rouge (212) (P, $30.00) is less shimmery, lighter, brighter (85% similar). Chanel Daydream (P, $30.00) is lighter, brighter (90% similar). MAC Just Superb Cremesheen Glass ($20.00 for 0.09 fl. oz.) is described as a “dirty neutral pink.” It’s a light-medium pink with warm, yellow undertones paired with a cream finish. It had semi-sheer pigmentation and a creamy, lightweight texture that didn’t get tacky. It settles and emphasizes lip lines, so it’s a gloss that seems better suited for application over something else. It lasted for two hours on me. MAC Softly Lit Cremesheen Glass ($20.00 for 0.09 fl. oz.) is described as a “sheer pink with pearl.” It’s a light beige with fine pearl and warm undertones. I really like Enchanter, but I’m trying to use up my existing glosses before they go bad, so I got Among the Fireflies lipstick. Also picked up the Foiled shadows in Enchanted Forest and Magic in Your Eyes. Also got free shipping by Christmas Eve, can’t wait! If Enchanter is still around, I might cave

I like Enchanter. The other three are too light for me. The big no is the liplines though. I’m also not a fan of the Cremesheen glass formula, I do love Lipglass though. I have no idea why I dont like the cremesheen one, had to go pick one to try it while I walk the dog to see if I can pinpoint the problem I have with the formula if not I guess it’s just one of these things.
