MAC Everyday Diva Mineralize Rich Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.14 oz.) is described as a “true red cream.” It’s a subtly blue-based, medium-dark red with a creamy finish and slightly glossy sheen. There’s not much to it, since it’s a creamy red, so there are certainly many similar red lipsticks available, so I wanted to give you similar shades that also had a similar finish. Clinique Mightiest Maraschino is just slightly less glossy. Edward Bess Midnight Bloom is darker. MAC New Temptation is glossier.

The color is opaque without being heavy or thick, and I think that’s really one of the features of this formula. It feels lighter and sits well on the lips. It doesn’t have as much slip as the Sheen Supreme range, but it has a lot more slip than the majority of MAC lipsticks and formulas. As a result, the lipstick glides on without tugging or pulling and delivers a good amount of color in each pass. Everyday Diva lasted five hours, which is short of wear with say, a matte red lipstick, but it is still above average wear for lipsticks and still good wear for a creamier lip product. I wish these were as moisturizing as touted (“77-Mineral Moist Complex” and “maximum moisture” are used describe the formula), though they are still somewhat hydrating.

So pretty! This is one of the shades I was most excited to see swatched, and it doesn’t disappoint. I’m still on a quest for a really easy, low-maintenance, wearable red…maybe this is it…

Damned! I usually don’t care much for Mac products, but that is one hell of a stunning lipstick.
I hope it’s not US exclusive though?

In the tube, it looks like it leans orange, but on the skin, it’s got some pink in there. Bummer, I wish it was more orange-based! Still very pretty.

This reminds me a great deal of Revlon’s Fire and Ice. Looks warm in the tube, but pulls more neutral on the skin depending on the person’s undertone. While none of these shades outright grab me, I do love the look of the formula. 🙂

Revlon fire and ice was just way too clownish on my nc20-25 skin….but I am loving this new MAC shade….oh…decisions decisions…I wonder if they are similar in tone and brightness.

the description is “True red cream” so since i have had experience with true reds turning pink on my skin, Im not sure it will be good on mine.
however, you mentioned “Bluish red” and blue reds are good on me, so im going to MAC to see for myself. youre lucky that any type of red suits you..

What a stunning colour. I was at my MAC store when they launched this on Friday but did not buy it then. I will be going back to get it tomorrow because I am so in love with this colour! 😉 Its about time I have some extreme colour in my life 🙂
