L'Oreal Burnished Blush, Sparkling Rose, Shining Peach Colour Riche Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Burnished Blush
L’Oreal Burnished Blush Colour Riche Shine Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.10 oz.) is a medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had good pigmentation that was buildable to full coverage with a second layer. The consistency was lightweight, balm-like with an emollient quality but a thinner feel. The color applied evenly across my lips and didn’t emphasize my lip lines, which can be an issue with some of these types of formulas. This shade wore well for three and a half hours and was hydrating while worn.

Formula Overview

The formula is described as "an ultra-rich, ultra-radiant lipstick with a glossy finish and comfortable wear." Per the brand, "in just one stroke," you'll get "rich color pay-off" with a "hydrating and lasting shine." The pigmentation varied from shade to shade but was generally medium to semi-opaque, often buildable to semi-opaque to opaque coverage. The texture was moderately emollient with noticeable slip, balminess, and felt lightweight on the lips.
Most of the shades did not emphasize the texture of my lips and didn't settle much into my lip lines (glossier, more slippery formulas often do!). The shades lasted between three and five hours with deeper/richer hues lasting longer and leaving very faint stains behind. I found the formula to be lightly hydrating over time and comfortable to wear. They had a sweet, fruity scent but no discernible taste.

Sparkling Rose
L’Oreal Sparkling Rose Colour Riche Shine Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.10 oz.) is a medium pink with strong, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. The color did not apply as evenly as other shades in the line-up, and I noticed a bit more product in my lip lines as well, though it wasn’t too noticeable from a normal viewing distance. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that stayed on well for three and a half hours. The formula felt hydrating while I wore it.

Shining Peach
L’Oreal Shining Peach Colour Riche Shine Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.10 oz.) is a soft, light-medium peach with warm, pink undertones and a natural sheen. It had semi-opaque pigmentation and appeared lighter on my lips than just swatched or in the tube. The texture was balmy, lightweight, and thin without being clingy or prone to wearing away quickly. I was really impressed by how well the lipstick applied–even with very little product in my lip lines (and definitely wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance)–for such a light color. It lasted for three and a half hours on me and was moisturizing over time.

Burnished Blush is lovely. Very smooth looking and I don’t see any weird settling into lines, either. I do have MAC Sunny Seoul, and that one let’s *too* much of my own weird purplish-brown lip color come through, unfortunately.
The shades seem far more muted on your lips than in the pan…hmmm.
Burnished blush sounds RIGHT up my alley! Iv been saving up to purchase another Georgio Armani rouge ecstasy shine lipstick. But might look into these. Hmm!
Very pretty lipsticks. I have several of these shine lipsticks and really love them all. They are comfortable to wear and leave a stain behind for me. They appear much shinier on me for the first hour or so and then they dry down a little and are more as they appear in your photos. I tend to go with the deeper shades due to my very pigmented lips so haven’t tried any of the lighter shades but think I will give one a try. They apply much lighter than they appear in the bullet.
I like the fact that they do leave a stain like my WetnWild ones do and I love them! I like the few colors I got from No. 7 but those dissaoear completely which I donβt dig at all or some old NYC I still have just wont last at all. π
