LORAC Mystic Oak Mini PRO Eyeshadow Palette ($15.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a warm-toned, slightly desaturated neutral color story that included two matte eyeshadows and four shimmery eyeshadows. Two of the shimmers were thicker/chunkier, so they would be better suited for someone who uses fingertips or a dampened brush to apply their shimmers, while the other four eyeshadows were easy to work with.

Frost is a bright, warmer white with a shiny, metallic finish. It appeared significantly lighter and brighter applied than in the pan (where it looked quite peach). The texture was lightly creamy, denser, and a little thicker, which resulted in a more textured finish compared to most of the brand’s shimmer shades. I’d recommend applying it with a fingertip or a dampened brush to help smooth it out, though. It had opaque color coverage that stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.

In 2020, the brand reformulated their PRO eyeshadows and released new palettes (and new shades, however new-new they might be). The formula is supposed to be "highly pigmented" that "last[s] without creasing" and "blend[s] effortlessly." Each eyeshadow can also be removed from its respective palette--there's an included tool to do so--to rearrange the palette or depot (nice touch!).
The mattes felt less thin and were not quite as dry as the prior formula--a bit silkier--though the matte eyeshadows are still lightly to moderately powdery with light fallout but are blendable. I think it's a formula more suitable to someone who tends to prefer buildable coverage and a little more muted color.

While very neutral and possibly even “boring” to some, I am loving this near perfect mini! It has some very melted looking metallics and some more sparkling ones, plus two very useful mattes, so it’s good for travel, too.
