N12 is a soft, medium-dark black with neutral-to-cool undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation with a smooth, thin consistency that was blendable but as it wasn't too firmly-pressed into the pan. It was somewhat more pigmented than marketed. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.
