ILNP Nail Polish ($10.00 to $12.50 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is a brand I’ve heard a lot about in the last few years, but it wasn’t until a recent conversation with a good friend (“in real life” as one might say) that I finally put together an order! Of course, I wasn’t initially drawn to their multichromes–duochromes, jellies, and glitter caught my eye more–but I ended up making a second order to try some of the multichromes out.

I have about 17 more to swatch between my two orders, but swatching and photographing 40 was a feat in itself, so here we are with some swatches! 🙂 For most of the polishes, you’ll want to click/tap on a shade to view all of the photos to see swatches from different angles.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Can I just say that I LOVE the fact that you’re swatching nail polishes? (ILNP too!) I have a few from this brand myself, and now I am thinking I need to add to my stash…

Thank you for this. I love ILNP. However, they have some similar shades and I try to keep my nail polish collection smallish by avoiding repeats. This will be so helpful!

Thank you Christine for swatches! I first purchased ILNP a few years ago and have grown my collection to 35+ shades. The formula is great and very long wearing with a good base and top coat. Looking forward to using your swatches as a guide to purchase a few more shades! 🙂

I’ve been a super fan of ILNP for a few years now. It’s by far the best “special effects” nail polish I’ve ever found. The formula is gentle, super reliable, the bottles and brushes are well designed and the colors are truly amazing! I have awful nails (medical/thyroid issues) so this brand has really helped my nails look the best they can be! Highly reccomended! I Love ILNP!

yes!!! i’ve been praying you’d give us a glimpse of this since i saw the bottle line up on your IG stories. i’m glad i held off on ordering until your swatches. some of them didn’t turn out like how i imagined tho still pretty! hope we get to hear your thoughts on these!

These are gorgeous and swatching so many is such a feat! How many coats did you do, and is there a base or top coat used with these swatches? (Forgive me if I missed it, I looked for that information!)

Hi Laurel!

That info will be in the reviews assuming I do them, but all had a top coat (Zoya Armor) except for these 10, which had a base and top coat (Deborah Lippmann Gel Lab top/base coats): Skate Date, Downtown, Bundled Up, Revival, Black Orchid, Bulletproof Symphony, Heirloom, Juliette, On the Rocks, and Caesar. The majority had two coats, but a few of the jellies I did three coats on.

So many pretty colors! I’m on their email list but I haven’t purchased anything yet. Christine, have you heard of the indie nail brand Live, Love, Polish? I bought a few magnetic polishes a few years ago from their Felis collection and I love them.

I’ve been really impressed with the staying power of the ILNP polish. It’s up there with the OPI Infinite Shine.

I have a couple of their polishes, I need to pull them out of the stash and use them. This swatch post reminded me of how pretty they are!

I accidentally bought Sirene after buying Hush on a previous order only to go… Omg they’re practically identical 🤦🏻‍♀️

Definitely similar! Sirene goes a little more teal (so a stronger hint of green), whereas Hush is bluer overall. I feel like Sirene shifts more, too!

My thoughts were pretty much “ooh”, “oh”, “oh my”, “damn”, “oh shiiiiit” I haven’t been able to paint my nails in ages. They peel like crazy and polish only lasts about a day. But man, this brand has been on my radar for a while and your swatches look so good!

ILNP is my favorite nail polish brand! To the extent that I’ve been planning to purge hundreds of other polishes I have because I pretty much only ever reach for ILNPs these days. You need Rosewater!
