Noble Burgundy could well be my one special autumn treat to myself! I love how it runs warmer than the majority of lipsticks in the burgundy family. More wine than “burgundy”, I think?
I just ordered the Noble Burgundy based on your swatch and description. I’m not a fan of matte anything but your fine description that there is something running through it and that it seems to look like I can sheer it out appeals to me. I’ve been hunting for a lovely wine/burgundy that’s not vampire overpowering and this looks to be just fine !
To me, all of the lipsticks have a corally pinky kind of look – even if they are meant to be red. Noble Burgundy is the shade I would like to see – although it is nothing like a burgundy shade at all.
I’ve never liked the look of these (or this sort of lipsticks – some mattes but not all of this) even in the bullet. They just look rough and scratchy and just unappealing simply sitting there in their bullets.
