ColourPop Topanga, Goal Digger, Brink Lippie Stix Reviews & Swatches
Topanga
ColourPop Topanga Lippie Stix ($6.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark, pink-leaning coral with warm undertones and a cream finish. It had rich pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly, though there was a touch of product that sank into my deeper lip lines. The texture was lightly creamy, not too thick or too thin, and felt lightweight when on my lips. The color glided on without tugging and was comfortable to wear over the four and a half hours it lasted for, especially as it did have light hydration over time.

Formula Overview
$7.00/0.0352 oz. - $198.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "full coverage" with a "long-wearing, ultra comfortable" feel. Because there are quite a few finishes in the range, some of the results depend more on the finish.
The matte finish tends to be thinner, drier, and firmer in the tube, and they can, occasionally, tug on my lips noticeably during application, but usually have good pigmentation and long wear; they range from non-drying to somewhat drying.
The Creme finish has a creamier, more emollient quality to it that has excellent pigmentation, comfortable wear, and good wear time (four to six hours); it tends to be a little hydrating but occasionally suffers from issues where product gathers in lip lines or they don't go on as evenly as they could. There's a soft, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Goal Digger
ColourPop Goal Digger Matte X Lippie Stix ($6.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a muted, deeper pink-coral with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had excellent pigmentation with a smooth, velvety texture that skated across my lips like melted butter–without any slipperiness or wetness. It felt very lightweight and comfortable to wear, and it looked more matte but had a lot of flex. The only issue I had the color seemed to pull away along my deeper lip lines a bit, but I was able to smooth the product back out and after a bit of wear (or you could blot once), it went away. This shade stayed on well for five hours and was neither drying nor hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$6.00/0.0352 oz. - $170.45 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "full-coverage" with a "super matte" finish that has a "lightweight and velvety feel." I'd agree with all of those things--most shades were opaque while a few were more semi-opaque to mostly opaque. The texture has a silicone-heavy feel to it, so it has the velvety slip that used to be more typical of face primers than lip products, but this silicone-heavy type of formula has made its way into lip products to give a more matte finish with a smoother, more velvety consistency. The consistency feels a bit denser, though it remains lightweight, and usually delivers even coverage in a single stroke that doesn't tug. The formula wears anywhere from four to eight hours on me, and it is typically neither drying nor hydrating. There's a soft, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Brink
ColourPop Brink Lippie Stix ($6.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark pink with strong, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had rich color payoff in a single layer, which adhered evenly but did pull away along my lip lines and caused some product to settle into it. The texture was dense, slightly firmer in the tube, so there was a touch of drag during application, but it had good adhesion without feeling clingy. It wore well for five and a half hours and was neither drying nor hydrating while worn.

I have Brink! It’s a good color on me.
Topanga was so lovely initially on and felt comfortable, but wore off into a hot pink stain so I ended up getting rid of it. I wonder if it has been reformulated and no longer does that? I got mine about a year ago.
Totally digging these 3 absolutely lovely shades, wow! Now to calm myself down and pick just 1. And that would have to be Goal Digger. It looks like NOTHING else I own, for one thing. And it also is one of the most beautiful Matte X lipsticks I’ve seen CP do!
I always sing Kanye to myself when I put Goal Digger on 😉
I like all three of these, especially Goal Digger
I am really loving the look of Gold Digger! Now I just have to figure out who I am because this is the least me colour I can think of but something about it is calling my name. I am trying to be a little bit more willing to try different shades and this one isn’t so much out there as it just isn’t in my preferred colour family. I was just getting ready to place my ColourPop order so I may hold off for a day or two to really do some site surfing.
My friend used Colour Pop Brink for her bridesmaids! Wonderful idea and color but it looked wildly different depending on people’s skin tones.
Yeah, I find it does that too – goes much more of a muted tawny coral on me, it’s crazy.
