ColourPop Spring Roll, UR Thriving, Moody Bloom Lux Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Spring Roll
ColourPop Spring Roll Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a muted, medium coral with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had rich color coverage in a single layer, which adhered evenly on my lips. The lipstick had a creamy, lightweight consistency that spread easily across my lips, and there was just a smidgen of product that sank into my deeper lip lines (but wasn’t visible to my eye in person, just in the close-up photo). It stayed on well for four and a half hours and was lightly hydrating.

Formula Overview
$10.00/0.12 oz. - $83.33 Per Ounce
The formula that is supposed to be a "creamy-matte" that "glides on like butter, doesn't feather or bleed, and lasts so long you'll forget you're even wearing it." The majority of the shades were quite pigmented with full color payoff in a single stroke with a few in the more semi-opaque coverage range.
The texture was, on average, smooth, lightly creamy, and not too thick or too thin, so there was no tugging during application but the color didn't feel slippery while worn, which made them easier to apply straight from the tube and low-maintenance on the lips.
They tend to dry and wear down to a soft matte finish within one to three hours of wear, and while they are very lightweight on, they hug the lips more as they become more matte (compared to initial feel). The wear time has been between four and six hours for most shades, and most shades were non-drying to lightly hydrating. They were vanilla-scented but had no discernible taste.

UR Thriving
ColourPop UR Thriving Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium-dark coral with warm undertones and a cream finish. The consistency was creamy, smooth, and lightweight without being too slippery or too clingy on my lips. The pigmentation was opaque in one, fluid stroke of the bullet across my lips, and it delivered even coverage without a fuss. There was a bit of product that sat in my deeper lip lines, though it wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance. This shade lasted well for five hours and was lightly moisturizing while worn.

UR Thriving and Moody Bloom are refreshing shades for spring/summer. Not the usual neon bright or sheer shades we traditionally see, but softer brights that are saturated with rich pigment. I’m loving these two!
These are all so beautiful. I love the Lux line. I feel like a lot of the colors over lap and that they need to add more natural (vs bold and bright) cool tones, but it does get me out of my comfort zone. I’ll have to use the swatch generator to see what ones I actually “need” vs ones that I want. I have a few similar colors in the Lux line because they are the same variation of a shade that always draws me in.
These look utterly delectable!
Up Thriving is a gorgeous coral shade and so versatile. Very pretty. I love their Lux lipstick range.
Finally a dupe for my beloved Liar !
Pat McGrath’s Christy is a very close dupe for spring roll!
