ColourPop Mistress of All Evil Super Shock Highlighter Review & Swatches
Mistress of All Evil
ColourPop Mistress of All Evil Super Shock Cheek (Highlighter) ($10.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a light, champagne beige with strong, warm undertones and a sparkling, lightly metallic finish. The consistency was smooth and emollient to the touch, where it felt just slightly “wet” but was thin and turned to a powder-like finish as soon as it came into contact with my skin. It had buildable pigmentation from semi-sheer to opaque (depending on application method; fingertips yield the most coverage!) that applied evenly to my skin and blended out with little effort. It stayed on well for nine and a half hours before fading slightly.

Formula Overview
$10.00/0.15 oz. - $66.67 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "buildable" coverage and can be applied with fingertips (which will yield "higher coverage") or a brush (for sheerer coverage). It's a cream-based product that has a subtle, "wet" feel to it but never has the thickness of a true cream-based blush.
It goes on with the smoothness of a cream formulation but diffuses and blends (without lifting up one's base) more like a powder product. The product sets to a powder finish, so the product won't slide around during the day.
On me, the wear tends to be between eight and 10 hours. Most shades have medium, buildable pigmentation with some being semi-opaque to opaque on occasion. They are typically blendable, easy to use, and long-wearing.

Oh yes, this is one that I must have! It reminds me of so many other HE highlighters that were LE and got away before I got paid! I have my sights set on the Cruella highlighter, too. Even though I hate that character, I love the lipstick and highlighter they created for her!
I just swatched on my hand at Ulta…it’s so gorgeous and soft! I am thinking of the Maleficent kit. But I can’t tell which lip gloss is in it. So happy to see it rated so well! :o)
What a fabulous shade – it would work well for a lot of skintones and the price is excellent for the quality of the product.
