ColourPop Ctrl + Alt + Glam Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Ctrl Alt Glam
ColourPop Ctrl Alt Glam 12-Pan Pressed Powder Shadow Palette ($18.00 for 0.3 oz.) is a new, limited edition palette that included several pops of pink and berry paired with warmer, more orange-based neutrals. The mattes were very consistent with the brand’s formula (fairly pigmented, blendable, easy enough to work with but had some powderiness), while most of the shimmers were more emollient but thinner/firmer, which made them easier to use with a fingertip.

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing." The way the Pressed Pigments differ is that they're not intended for usage on the immediate eye area.
The majority of the shades are semi-opaque to opaque in coverage, blend out fairly well, and can sometimes be a bit drier/more powdery compared to typical matte shades. They often wear eight to nine hours on me before fading, but many shades in the Pressed Pigment family leave some staining behind.

Very perfect palette…for spring? Even the one offending pressed glitter is so incredibly finely milled that I had NO idea that it even had PET glitter in it, so it is something that I would personally feel comfortable using with my Nyx Glitter Primer as a topper. Just using extreme caution while removing. That’s if I ever get it months later.
Quite a summery kind of colour story going on here, but very pretty and the palette rates well.
What a stunning palette! I love the pinks and holos. Reminds me of a similar palette I had from I HEART MAKEUP a few years ago. Might need to get this as a replacement.
Hey, this one is pretty nifty and fun!
i actually like this palette’s colour set. i would actually want it! thanks for sharing the review & swatches
Is it weird to say this looks like a better version of the UD Robin Eisenberg palette? I also feel like the cyberpunk theme is more thoroughly explored in this palette. Not sure if this is for me, but at this price point I’d be tempted to experiment.
If this was 10 years ago, maybe, but now, not so much, LOL.
I really like the colors and finishes for this palette , there’s a few that I could dupe but the blue and that shifting lavender look really pretty! I might have to make a colourpop purchase!
