ColourPop Glitterati Super Shock Shadow
ColourPop Glitterati Super Shock Shadow

ColourPop Glitterati Super Shock Shadow ($5.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “silver undertone with gold glitter.” It’s a light silvery white with gold glitter. It is packed with larger, chunky glitter, which makes this shade more troublesome to use, as it tends to thicken on the lid and go on unevenly. It is really best applied by patting it over another shade. It is usable on its own, but I find it tends to be a little uneven and sheer in places. There was a small amount of fall out over time, though the color was going strong after ten hours. Chanel Tisse Gabrielle #2 (PiP, ) is darker (95% similar). Fyrinnae Sled Puppies (P, $6.75) is less shimmery (90% similar). LORAC Cashmere (LE, $19.00) is darker (95% similar). MAC Greenluxe #2 (PiP, ) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). MAC Pastelluxe #1 (PiP, ) is more shimmery (90% similar). Sephora + Pantone Universe Shifting Sand (LE, ) is less shimmery (90% similar). Make Up For Ever D416 Crystalline Yellow (DC, $21.00) is darker (90% similar). Chanel Rêve d'Orient #2 (LE, ) is less shimmery (90% similar). NARS Screech (LE, $25.00) is more shimmery, darker, warmer (90% similar). MAC Photosphere (LE, $22.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). ColourPop Fringe (P, $6.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). ColourPop I Heart This (P, $6.00) is darker (85% similar). ColourPop Sleigh (LE, $6.00) is darker (85% similar). MAC Chott (LE, $17.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (85% similar). Melt Cosmetics No Regrets (LE, ) is more shimmery, darker, warmer (85% similar). MAC Live the Genie Life (LE, $17.00) is lighter, warmer (85% similar). Make Up For Ever D552 Crystalline Gray Beige (DC, $21.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler (85% similar). LORAC Unlocked (PiP, $19.00) is less shimmery, darker (85% similar). Chanel Blurry Grey #4 (PiP, ) is less shimmery, warmer (85% similar). ColourPop Ice (LE, $6.00) is more shimmery, darker (85% similar). Top 20 dupes listed, see the rest. See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

ColourPop Disco Ball Super Shock Shadow ($5.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “true black undertone with gold glitter.” It’s a blackened olive with lighter green and gold sparkle. It had mostly opaque coverage, but it does need two layers for truly opaque coverage. It could blend out more evenly as well, but it did last for ten hours without fading or creasing and almost no fall out. Cle de Peau Modern Era #4 (LE, ) is less shimmery, lighter (95% similar). Urban Decay Hot Box (LE, $19.00) is less shimmery, warmer (90% similar). Urban Decay Scorpio (DC, $20.00) is more shimmery (90% similar). Urban Decay Baby Hair (LE, $19.00) is more shimmery, lighter, cooler (90% similar). Chanel Éclat Énigmatique #2 (LE, ) is more shimmery, lighter (90% similar). Sephora Jungle Party (09) (DC, $10.00) is darker (85% similar). MAC Gingerluxe #3 (LE, ) is more shimmery, lighter, warmer (85% similar). MAC Greenluxe #4 (PiP, ) is more shimmery, darker, warmer (85% similar). MAC Cosmic Clash (LE, $25.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler (85% similar). Dior Pied de Poule #5 (PiP, ) is less shimmery, warmer (85% similar). NARS Gabon (LE, $25.00) is warmer (85% similar). MAC Smutty Green (P, $21.00) is more shimmery, darker (85% similar). Urban Decay Zodiac (DC, $20.00) is more shimmery, lighter (85% similar). Too Faced Eiffel (LE, $16.00) is more shimmery, lighter (80% similar). Guerlain Cygne Noir #1 (LE, ) is less shimmery, darker (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

ColourPop Dance Party Super Shock Shadow ($5.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “smoky violet with multi-colored glitter.” It’s a muted, medium-dark purple with a darker, black base and multi-colored sparkle. This is a lot prettier in person than swatched, I think, as the shimmer is very multi-dimensional. It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque coverage that was buildable to mostly opaque coverage. The eyeshadow was still crease-free after ten hours, and I only saw less than a handful of sparkles that had dropped over wear. Moira Nimbus (P, $7.50) is less shimmery, darker (95% similar). Sydney Grace Inertia (P, $6.25) is cooler (95% similar). MAC Panthertized (P, $22.00) is more shimmery, darker (90% similar). MAC Sparkling Moment (LE, $18.00) is more shimmery (90% similar). Sydney Grace Rushed (P, $6.25) is warmer (90% similar). Laura Mercier Violet Sugar (LE, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (90% similar). MAC Frost at Midnight (LE, $21.00) is cooler (90% similar). MAC Get Physical (LE, $18.00) is more shimmery, warmer (90% similar). Tarte Graphic (LE, ) is less shimmery, darker, warmer (90% similar). Fenty Beauty Space Owt (LE, ) is more shimmery, lighter (90% similar). MAC Feel the Fever (LE, $18.00) is darker, more muted (90% similar). Pat McGrath Smoked Amethyst (LE, $25.00) is less shimmery, darker, warmer (90% similar). NARS Kauai #2 (DC, $25.00) is lighter, brighter (90% similar). Danessa Myricks Truth (P, $18.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (90% similar). Anastasia Osiris (LE, $12.00) is cooler (85% similar). Urban Decay Gravity (DC, $19.00) is brighter, cooler (85% similar). MAC Plumluxe #3 (PiP, ) is lighter, warmer (85% similar). Milani Purr-fect Purple (DC, $6.99) is lighter (85% similar). Too Faced Champs Elysees (LE, $16.00) is lighter (85% similar). Urban Decay Ether (DC, $20.00) is more shimmery, darker, warmer (80% similar). Top 20 dupes listed, see the rest. If I had seen this before I ordered DGAF and Fanny Pack yesterday, I might have thrown Dance Party in the cart. Even in the photo I can clearly see so many glitter colors, very cool. But I don’t wear cool purples that often so I’m not sure this is one I need to go back for. I might have even thrown Glitterati in there, it makes your lid look like a beautiful ice cube lol.

Looks like I will need to add Glitterati as well. On it’s own, it doesn’t look so great, but mixed in with the other shadows, it’s gives an awesome sparkle. At this point, might as well throw the entire Boogie Nights collection into my cart and hit buy LOL

Glitterati and Disco Ball play off on another so very well! And they manage to look quite HE at that! Dance Party also looks really rich and gorgeous, too. This CP collection is proof that makeup need not be expensive in order to look and work like a HE product.
Putting all three together is not something I would have ever thought of doing, but it actually looks fantastic with your eye color, Christine! It draws out the complexity of your multi-color iris. Sometimes I do think it’s fun and cool to have multi-color eyes myself!

I got Disco Ball and it’s gorgeous!! Mine appears brown-black with smoky olive undertones and gold glitter. Definitely bling bling for the eyes! And looks like I will need to grab Dance Party and a backup too – the pic is already stunning, and you say it looks even better in person?? Dang, CP does it AGAIN!

I have searched this post three times and cannot find the part that says which shadows you are wearing in this photo. Sometimes you use some of the shadows in the same collection in your pic, so I want to make sure you created this look with just Glitterati, Dance Party, and Disco Ball. It is a gorgeous look!

Your eye look is so gorgeous and sparkly! I love how you layered Disco Ball on the inner corner and smudged it under the eye.

Glitterati is beautiful, but I have to use e.l.f. Glitter Primer with the version I have, or I end up looking like a Twilight extra. Disco Ball is sensational! The purple eyeshadow addict in me must have it.

Christine, I assume you’ve owned ColourPop for more than a year — do they dry out like the website explains and become unusable? I guess it depends on how much air they’re exposed to, but I haven’t seen much about what the life span is like.
