Chanel Rêve d'Orient #2 is a moderately warm-toned, very light gold with a metallic finish. It is a limited edition eyeshadow.
Rêve d'Orient #2 is described as a "glimmering beige." It's a brightened, white gold with warm, ivory undertones and a frosted, metallic finish. Applied dry, it was semi-opaque with a more frosted finish, whereas when I applied it to the skin with a dampened brush, it had a smoother, more metallic finish. It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading slightly. MAC Just Gleaming (LE, $19.50) is less warm-toned. Guerlain Petrouchka #1 (LE) is darker. LORAC Cashmere (LE) is darker.
