The Up-Lighting Illuminating Powder is supposed to be a “sheer illuminating powder” that gives skin a “candle-lit, radiant glow” that can be used alone, as a finishing powder, or as a highlighter. Like Golden Glow, it is far from sheer–in fact, it is pretty opaque! If you like your highlighters/bronzers pigmented, that might be a happy “con.” The texture was soft, smooth, and easy to blend and work with on my cheeks. It didn’t emphasize pores and gave a soft sheen. I think this one could be used as a finishing powder on deeper skin tones as well. This shade lasted for eight hours before fading noticeably.

I like the soft sheen on this one, will look nice on medium to darker skintones
Agreed!
Amber Glow makes for a *perfect* bronzing blush for warmer skintones, I think. It looks fab on you, so it would likely be super flattering even on someone a little darker, like myself, too. Actually, anyone within the NC25-44 range, I’d imagine!
*Bronze Glow. Sometimes if I can’t recall the full name, I only scroll up to where the dupes in their packaging is shown, where the reviewed product name is shown directly above.
I could totally see it working as a bronzer!
It’s beautiful!
It is!
More orangey goodness that I need to skip!
Aww!
This is really pretty on you Christine! I like that it’s super similar to Tom Ford & Guerlain (both are already fav’s of mine). The price is so reasonable too. Thanks for the review Christine, as honestly I do bypass Clinique and I’m not sure why…will be purchasing this soon!
My pleasure, Trish! 🙂
