Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk & Walk of No Shame Jewel Lips Reviews & Swatches
Pillow Talk
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Jewel Lips ($32.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a medium, pink-coral base with multi-colored flecks of micro-sparkle throughout. It had more of a smattering of sparkle when applied–it seemed more prominent when initially swatched on my arm–that applied fairly evenly and smoothly across my lips. It had sheer coverage, which was marketed, and I felt just a few of the sparkles when I pressed my lips together.
The color looked pinker and slightly milkier on, so there was a touch of product that settled into my deeper lip lines and along some of the finer lines on my upper lip, though I didn’t find it noticeable in person. The texture was lightweight, mostly non-sticky, and comfortable to wear, but it was on the thinner side. It stayed on for two and a half hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.

Formula Overview

It's supposed to "last up to 7 hours" with "plump-effect moisture and hydration" with a "sheer wash" of "glimmering" color. The formula has a smooth, lightweight consistency that was spreadable and non-sticky, though it was thin enough that I could feel some faint sparkle if I pressed my lips together for shades with enough sparkle content.
The pigmentation was sheer, as described, and while it wasn't smoothing, it had very minor product that settled into my lip lines, so it often wasn't visible from a normal viewing distance (just when I checked close-up). I don't know under what circumstances the gloss would carry on for seven hours--that's quite long for even very tacky gloss--and that was where these fell shortest: they were more like two to three hours of wear. The formula felt lightly hydrating, and I didn't notice any superior/additional plumping effect than one would get with a glossy lip color in general (but no tingle either).

LELimited Edition. $32.00.
Walk of No Shame
Charlotte Tilbury Walk of No Shame Jewel Lips ($32.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a medium-dark plum with subtle, warm undertones and flecks of red and violet sparkle. The color payoff was sheer to semi-sheer with good distribution of the shimmer/sparkle and the product wasn’t prone to settling into my lip lines.
The texture felt smooth and lightweight with a smidgen of tackiness, but it was thinner so the feel of some of the sparkles came through if I pressed my lips together a bit–not the most textured but those who find that hard to bear may want to think twice (an observation rather than a pro or con). It wore well for three hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.

WONS is a beautiful shade of rosy plum that’s just perfect for autumn/winter! I have nothing quite like it, either.
Pillow Talk, on the other hand, just isn’t grabbing my attention because it’s so easy to dupe. Plus, I do have Fenty Fu$$y Gloss Bomb.
Iām glad I waited for this review, these r so underwhelming. Average shine, very little sparkle, basic colors.
I actually wish she’d leave the pillow and work on something more interesting, that of course is just me, no offence meant to Pillow Talk fans.
I find both glosses very underwhelming, I can’t really see much difference between the natural lip photo and the photos with the gloss: I think both swatched better than they look on. This could be my monitor, but I think it generally shows colours quite well.
Easy pass, in short.
