I recently purchased this for a special occasion after wanting a Tom Ford blush for a long, long time, since everyone and their cousin seem to rave about it. Now, Tom Ford Beauty is insanely expensive, and I've heard that the quality of some products is subpar for the price, so I chose carefully.
Lovelust? Well, the quality is amazing. I have to emphasize that. I've never tried anything like it -I'm not a blush expert, but still, I don't see how a formula could be better. The product gets easily picked on by the brush, it applies effortlessly onto the skin, and it blends effortlessly. It is so, so smooth, it seems to melt onto the skin. You get an incredibly natural yet luminous effect. You'll have no difficulty to build it up if you wish, though. It's such a pleasure to use.
The colour is on point, too: it's very flattering on my warm, yellowish skintone, and I can see it work for a variety of skintones (I believe the hint of pink may make it wearable for cooler-toned people). I'm no expert though, so I'd urge you to try it in person if you can.
The packaging does feel luxurious. It comes with a brown pouch. It closes with a magnetic device. I do find the mirror somewhat flimsy -only a wee bit so, but I would be worried it would pop open if I were to travel with it without additional protection, like, say, a ribbon tied around it. I also think the plastic protection on top of the blush itself moves around a bit too easily. These are minor details, but at this price point, I expect everything to be absolutely perfect, which is why I deducted half a point.
Still, this is an excellent product overall, and a new holy grail for me.
