Charlotte Love Flame & Red Wishes Tilbury Limitless Lucky Lips Reviews & Swatches
Love Flame
Charlotte Tilbury Love Flame Limitless Lucky Lips ($34.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a muted, deep orange-red with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque color coverage that applied evenly across my lips without dragging. The texture was smooth, velvety, and very lightweight in feel without emphasizing imperfections, though it wasn’t smoothing so I’d still recommend exfoliating prior to wearing this type of formula. It wore well for five hours, which was solid wear but nowhere near the 16 hours claimed.

Formula Overview
$34.00/0.05 oz. - $680.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "super-matte" with "high impact" and "transfer-proof bold colour" that "lasts for up to 16 hours." They were very pigmented and velvety-smooth with a very lightweight feel but a denser, more velvety feel when being applied initially. They applied evenly and were fairly forgiving of lip texture/imperfections and didn't pill as some silicone-heavy formulas have for me. The high silicone in the formula gave it that velvety feel that glided across my lips but didn't feel traditionally emollient or "wet" like other lipsticks.
I really don't understand the need to make such a long wear time claim; 16-hours would be intensely long-wearing for some of the longest wearing formulas in the market, e.g. liquid lipstick that dries down to a matte finish. The formula was long-wearing by general standards, but no, it did not last anywhere near 16 hours! Most shades lasted between five and six hours with even fading/wear, but they made it past a meal just so-so. The formula was more non-drying than it was drying or hydrating.
There was a sweet, vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Love Flame
LELimited Edition. $34.00.
Red Wishes
Charlotte Tilbury Red Wishes Limitless Lucky Lips ($34.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a rich, ruby red with strong, cool undertones and a matte finish. It had mostly opaque pigmentation that applied evenly, but the more velvety, silicone-heavy texture wasn’t as forgiving of lip texture/lip lines (despite exfoliating prior) as other shades in the range were. It seemed more prone to separating along lip lines and clumping around lip texture. It lasted well for six hours, left a stain behind, and felt non-drying.

Not in love with either of these shades or this formula. I do like most CT lipsticks but this formula is way to dry looking for me. It is funny because the Matte Revolution lippies don’t bother me. Anyway, this will be an easy pass for me.
I really like the Matte Revolution formula, it’s not drying and they last quite a long time. They are one of my favourite lipsticks. Her K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula doesn’t work for me it seems to just vanish from the inner part of the lips, not flattering! 🙂
Nope. No dice. Especially not for my prone to chapping winter lips! Besides, I have enough similar shades.
Disappointing lipsticks for the price – CP’s Foolish rated better than Love Flame and I can tell you that that one is an outstanding lipstick.
It’s fun, I have on of the top dupes for Love Flame, a colour I hardly ever use, it is a mini, Chili from MAC. I sometime use it, and quite like it.
I love the colour of Red Wishes, but don’t have a dupe, though Maybelline Red for Me is on my WL.
I just found it odd, as I love red lipsticks but don’t particularly care for orange.
In short, easy pass on these.
