MAC Chili is a gorgeous color, with the perfect mix of brown, orange and red. My complexion is light-medium with yellow undertones (NC20-25), and my lips are naturally more mauve; MAC Chili is more red on me, with a hint of orange and brown. Christine picture shows the color more orange than it looks on me. I find this color very wearable, works with glam looks but also for everyday wear. It's not a true red, it's a very interesting unique red. With the orange tones (nothing blue in this red), my teeth might look more yellow than usual.
Even if it's a Matte formula, it still has some Satin vibes. It's definitely not a flat dull matte.
I personally find MAC Matte formula very comfortable to wear all day long, it has both creaminess and staying power. I have to retouch it after meals, but otherwise looks great all day, without staining the lips.

A very well-named lipstick, as it reminds me of the color of chili powder. It looks beautiful on. It's matte, but comfortable. It lasted all day, with only one very minor touch-up after lunch. This makes a great addition to my collection of MAC reds, which also includes Lady Danger and Russian Red. Of the three, I find Chili to be the most wearable for the daytime.

If you're looking for the perfect lipstick for fall, well rejoice! the search is over!! Chili is a very unique shade that can seem either like a burnt red-brown or a terracotta copper, plus, it's pretty much suitable for all skin types. Prepare for nonstop compliments all season long ;)

This is an amazing colour. I believe it is one of the Mattes. Either way, it is one of those brick-orange reds that is perfectly suited to dark-skinned ladies. Since it is a Matte, it is fairly drying and causes my lips to flake. The colour is well-worth it thought and the wear-time is great!
