Chanel Fleur de Lotus & Pivoine Rouge Allure Ink Fusion Liquid Lip Colour Reviews & Swatches
Fleur de Lotus (830)
Chanel Fleur de Lotus (830) Rouge Allure Ink Fusion Liquid Lip Colour ($38.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a darker, red-coral with warmer undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied fluidly across my lips and was easy to spread out for even coverage. The texture was thin, almost watery, and it definitely felt as lightweight as marketed. It didn’t feel clingy, though it didn’t camouflage lip texture at all, so you’ll want to exfoliate prior to applying for best application. It wore well for five and a half hours and was non-drying.

Formula Overview
$45.00/0.2 oz. - $225.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "ultra-intense, ultra-matte, longwearing lip colour" that "fuses" for "lightweight" and "comfortable coverage." The coverage was more semi-opaque than "ultra-intense," but the finish was flat, matte after the product dried down. A second layer could be applied for more pigmentation (once the initial layer set).
The initial texture was thin, more watery and fluid than I expected, and it almost seemed more like a blotted effect after it dried down. The product had marginally more stretch and flexibility to it after dry down, so it was more comfortable to wear and felt very lightweight on. I would recommend exfoliating prior to applying this formula to ensure a smoother application.
They lasted between five and six hours and felt non-drying for the most part. There was a very subtle, floral scent but no discernible taste.

PPermanent. $45.00.
Pivoine (832)
Chanel Pivoine (832) Rouge Allure Ink Fusion Liquid Lip Colour ($38.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a brighter, medium-dark pink with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied fairly evenly, but there was subtle streaking apparent along the edges that I couldn’t quite finesse and smooth out while the product was drying down.
The texture was thin, watery, and fluid, so it did spread fairly well and was true to its claim of feeling lightweight and comfortable–it had good “stretch” in that sense. With its dry down, though, you’ll still want to exfoliate ahead of time for the smoothest and most flattering application. This shade lasted well for five hours and was neither drying nor hydrating over time.

These are both super pretty, but I’m not a fan of liquid lipstick, so I’m (thankfully) not tempted.
They are pretty shades, but also popular ones and whilst they are of very good quality, I think you can get better for the price.
Fleur de Lotus is a very fresh strawberry shade that feels like summer. Thankfully, I have MAC La Vie En Rouge, which I believe is a superior performer to this one.
