Bobbi Brown Plum Rose & Red Berry Luxe Lip Colors Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Plum Rose
Bobbi Brown Plum Rose Luxe Lip Color ($37.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a rich plum with subtle, cool undertones and a cream finish. The texture was smooth, creamy, and lightweight without being too thin or too thick on the lips. It had excellent pigmentation that covered the lips evenly in a single layer. It wore well for five and a half hours and was moisturizing over time.

Formula Overview

Best Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color is supposed to have one-stroke color coverage with a hydrating, smoothing formula, and “nourishing shine.” I was impressed with the formula as a whole, as the majority of the shades were very pigmented in one pass with a creamy consistency that glided on easily. There’s a richness to the texture that does feel more “luxe” in a way.
The natural-to-luminous shine level gives lips a smoother, plumper look, while the formula itself is hydrating and many shades are longer-wearing. I noticed that the lighter shades tended to perform more poorly relative to more light-medium to medium-dark-hued shades. There was a faint floral scent (that was a surprise, I wish they had gone the unscented!), but I didn’t have issues with taste and found it very subtle on (it’s no Dior/Chanel-level scent!).
In general, I like Bobbi Brown’s lipstick formulas, and this one feels creamier and more hydrating than others, but for pigmentation, you can’t go wrong with this or the Rich Lip Color formula.

Red Berry
Bobbi Brown Red Berry Luxe Lip Color ($37.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a medium-dark burgundy with subtle, cool undertones and a soft sheen. This shade had more slip than most in the range, and it also seemed thinner, which gave it a bit of translucency on the lips. The pigmentation was still closer to full coverage in one layer, but it wasn’t buildable beyond mostly opaque. It didn’t feather on me, but it felt more high-maintenance while worn as it didn’t adhere as well as other shades. It lasted for five hours on me, left a subtle stain behind, and was hydrating.

Red Berry is such a beautiful shade, but the slip (and therefore slide) issue kills it for me. Besides, I have MAC Dreaming Of You! Which is probably my favorite burgundy at present, if not ever!
Plum Rose looks like way nicer quality and pigmentation!
That Red Berry lipsticks is just beautiful.
Surprised I don’t have any dupes for Red Berry, it’s so pretty. Bobbi Brown’s lip stick formula is a favorite . I’ll keep my eye on this one,lol
