Weirdough

ColourPop Weirdough Pressed Powder Blush ($8.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a muted, medium brown with warm, rosy undertones and a matte finish. It had a powder texture that kicked up a lot of excess product in the pan and seemed to come from a drier formula, too, as I felt like it skipped on the skin as I tried to apply and blend it out. It had semi-opaque pigmentation, but it wasn’t buildable as the powder just seemed to sheer out the more I blended it out. The blush stayed on well for seven hours before fading noticeably on me.

Formula Overview

$8.00/0.13 oz. - $61.54 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to go on "smoothly" and have a "natural and healthy flush" that has "long wear" and "can be layered to your desired intensity." It is a lightly to moderately powdery powder blush with semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable color payoff. The consistency has a drier, thinner feel and though it feels silky to the touch, I found it the type of powder blush can be tricky to blend out evenly on the skin, depending on one's skin type or base preferences. The drier the skin/base, the better the formula would blend, but any natural oils or slip caused the blush to go on unevenly and was difficult to blend out. The wear was between seven and eight hours on me on average.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

This is so disappointing! Ever since MAC discontinued my beloved Cubic I’ve been looking for colors just like this one, my next LBD of blushes. I was so excited when I saw the color swatched and then I sank like a souffle when I saw the grade. Oh well. Thank you for the great work Christine!

Having fallen in love with the arm swatches, I’m feeling just a bit crest fallen here. This one looked like it had the potential to be a great nude, no-makeup makeup blush shade for my coloring. ?
