Shiseido Vortex (216) VisionAiry Gel Lipstick ($26.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a deep, plummy burgundy with subtle, warm undertones and a glossy sheen. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied fairly evenly, but it could have been both more pigmented and less slippery. I was surprised that the color didn't sink into every lip line, though, so that was impressive. The consistency became tackier within 45 minutes of application, which kept it from feathering or bleeding, but this shade was too slippery and more challenging to apply directly from the tube as a result. The color stayed on nicely for five and a half hours on me and was hydrating over time.
