Bobbi Brown Pink Sand Luxe Lip Color ($35.00 for 013 oz.) is a light-medium peach with subtle, warm beige tones and a natural sheen. FORMULA SUMMARY | Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color ($35.00 for 0.12 oz.) is supposed to have one-stroke color coverage with a hydrating, smoothing formula, and “nourishing shine.” I was impressed with the formula as a whole, as the majority of the shades were very pigmented in one pass with a creamy consistency that glided on easily. There’s a richness to the texture that does feel more “luxe” in a way. The natural-to-luminous shine level gives lips a smoother, plumper look, while the formula itself is hydrating and many shades are longer-wearing. I noticed that the lighter shades tended to perform more poorly relative to more light-medium to medium-dark-hued shades. There was a faint floral scent (that was a surprise, I wish they had gone the unscented!), but I didn’t have issues with taste and found it very subtle on (it’s no Dior/Chanel-level scent!). In general, I like Bobbi Brown’s lipstick formulas, and this one feels creamier and more hydrating than others, but for pigmentation, you can’t go wrong with this or the Rich Lip Color formula.

All gorgeous! You look fabulous! I know I don’t have to tell you how I feel about this formula. Needless to say, all three are now on my wish list! 🙂

I always look horrible in these kind of colors, not sure why, but glad they got great scores. This lippie line from Bobbi Brown is quite impressive

All of these are very flattering on you, Christine. You look lovely! Definitely some pretties in there I will have to consider for summer. I like the moisture laden looking finish for warmer months.

Bright Peony looks so absolutely perfect for spring and summer! I love it! Pink Sand is one of those gorgeous, lighter nude shades that I always fall for, go to try them on at say, Sephora, and then get all disappointed because, on me, they are nearly corpse-lip territory. However, in looking at its dupe list, I saw MAC Reel Sexy as a possible dupe. Which I already have. So I had a thought: put on Reel Sexy and add a bit of MAC Pure Zen to create a luminous nude shade that may just work!
Btw, ALL 3 look positively gorgeous on you!

Oh man, I love Hot Rose! I do have Tumultuous Pink though, which is listed as a dupe and it does look pretty similar so I don’t think I’ll be buying it. It’s good that I can save money but I’m really wanting to try the new Bobbi Brown formula. Guess I’ll have a look at the other colours since I recall seeing others that looked beautiful also.
