Bite Beauty Infuse & Marsala Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipsticks Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Infuse
Bite Beauty Infuse Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 fl. oz.) is a deep, reddened plum with subtle, warm undertones and a cream finish with moderate shine. It was richly pigmented and covered the lips with even color in a single layer. The consistency was lightweight, smooth, and creamy enough to spread easily but did not slide around. It was just a touch tacky but never felt thick or goopy on the lips. The formula was lightly hydrating over the six hours this shade lasted for.
The Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick is supposed to be “moisture-rich, high-pigment” in a “liquified” consistency that has a “creamy, comfortable application.” It’s a lightweight, fluid consistency that was neither runny nor thick on the lips. It does not dry down and feels mostly like a liquid-form of a lipstick (and not so much like a gloss). The majority of the range was incredibly pigmented and spread evenly across the lips. Some shades had a bit of color that sat in my lip lines, which was noticeable from a normal viewing distance with a few but not all. It had a lightly tacky feel on the lips, which helped to adhere as none of the shades I have tested have feathered on me. The formula was lightly hydrating, wore for four to seven hours, and had a light, herbal, lemony scent but no discernible taste.
If you’ve been following Bite for awhile, you might remember the Cashmere Lip Creams from a few years ago, which were also a liquid formula. Unfortunately, I had a couple leak on me and ended up tossing all of them out of fear, so I couldn’t do a true comparison, but from my memory, it was slightly thicker and less tacky while both had a more natural shine after initial application.

Marsala
Bite Beauty Marsala Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 fl. oz.) is a medium-dark, purpled berry with subtle, warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had semi-opaque color payoff that applied evenly for the most part, but there was slight unevenness along the center of my lips and a bit of color that settled into my deeper lip lines. The texture of this shade was more emollient compared to others and had noticeable slip. I did not personally experience any feathering along the edges, though. The liquid lipstick wore well for five and a half hours, left a slight stain behind, and was lightly moisturizing over time.

I LOVE BiTE so these are on the list but I am a bit afraid of it not drying down. BiTE is sooo good but creamy and slippy. I’ll be picking up a color anyway
Let me know how you like the formula, Mo!
Ooooh, didn’t realize Marsala was so hard to dupe, think that might be the one!
Keep us posted if you try it, Katherine!
Infused is a cool shade of warm berry red. But I think I need to get a more solid lipstick formula for these types of reds because I can see this smearing one me. lol
Maybe UD MOSH PIT is in my future.
Mosh Pit is lovely!
I probably don’t need Infuse because I have UD Bruise, MAC VGIII and CP Toolips, but I sure do want it! That one is a STUNNER!
Aww! You have plenty o’ dupes!
Very nice color for fall
They are!
I love these shades so much.
They are beauties!
These shades are both beautiful! Infuse is really standing out to me and I don’t think I have any dupes.
They are very rich shades!
It’s funny because in the package and in swatches they didn’t look like anything special, but seeing them as part of a fully made-up face, they just look really good!
These lipsticks are the best! They don’t bleed, they’re long lasting, they don’t stain your lips – and after wearing it for hours, your lips are left so soft!!!!!! Love them!
Happy to hear you love them, Jennifer!
Both are exquisite I’m so happy they don’t have sesame! These will be on my Fall wishlist for sure.
Phew! 🙂
They’re both so cheerful, esp Infuse. Some of these will def come my way.
I would love to hear your thoughts on the formula when you try one!
Marsala is the perfect Fall shade!! Can’t believe I’m thinking that far ahead already!
I agree!
