Best & Worst of MAC Electric Wonder Collection

MAC Electric Wonder Collection | Swatches

Here’s a brief summary of how the products from the new MAC Electric Wonder Collection reviewed!  It’s a typical release from the brand with hits and misses, and as it features more neutral hues, it may be very redundant for some.  The item I enjoyed the most was the Ignite Wonder palette, which had a creamier, smoother feel than most of MAC’s powder blushes.  Rock Starz is also a pretty gloss if you enjoy MAC’s formula (I do!).

Did you pick up anything from the launch? Anything you had your eye on before but ended up passing on?

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Did I get anything? Did I ever! Even though I hadn’t planned on getting more than 1 lipstick, a Lipglass and Into Eternity Iridescent powder, it went well over.
So, here goes:
1.) Into Eternity Iridescent powder
2.) Life In Sepia lipstick
3.) Rock Starz Lipglass
4.) Natural Born Leader lipstick
5.) Natural Vice e/s palette
And still have these 2 items on my WL:
6.) Marble Faun Lipglass
7.) Ignite Wonder face Palette

I successfully avoided buying Desert Lightning, which is really nice and extremely tempting, but I truly don’t need it. (It’s still available at Macy’s, where I have a $10 gift card, so I’m not out of the woods yet.)

I like that a lipstick called Natural Born Leader is in the #1 spot. ?

I only picked up 3 things from the collection although I kept eyeing the Desert Lightening Palette. The 3 things I did pick up were Natural Born Leader, a me shade if ever there was one! I also got the Lip Glass in Make Me Mercurial and the Into Eternity Iridescent Powder. I haven’t used the powder yet but have worn the lippie and the lip glass and I love them both.

I picked up:
Natural Born Leader, Life in Sepia and Feelin’ Sedimental lipsticks
Natural Vice and Desert Lightning eye shadow palettes

I passed on the cheek powders and glosses. I am happy with my purchases!

Yep. I did. I purchased this Natural Born Leader lipstick, which is really pretty, although it does remind me an awful lot of the Rajah lipstick from the recently released Aladdin collection. Natural Born Leader does pull a bit more red, while Rajah a little bit more plum. But, they are practically twins. Still keeping both of them, though. I am a sucker for pretty MAC LE packaging.
