ColourPop Bichette & Ellarie Lippie Stix Reviews & Swatches
Bichette
ColourPop Bichette Lippie Stix ($6.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a rich, deeper red with cool undertones and a natural sheen. It seemed to have barely-there pearl that gave it a subtle sheen and more dimension than other shades in the range The consistency was firm without being stiff or difficult to apply, and it noticeably warmed up against my lips as I glided the product across them. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that adhered evenly without emphasizing my lip lines. It was still going strong after six hours of wear and left a strong behind, while the formula was neither drying nor hydrating.

Formula Overview
$7.00/0.0352 oz. - $198.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "full coverage" with a "long-wearing, ultra comfortable" feel. Because there are quite a few finishes in the range, some of the results depend more on the finish.
The matte finish tends to be thinner, drier, and firmer in the tube, and they can, occasionally, tug on my lips noticeably during application, but usually have good pigmentation and long wear; they range from non-drying to somewhat drying.
The Creme finish has a creamier, more emollient quality to it that has excellent pigmentation, comfortable wear, and good wear time (four to six hours); it tends to be a little hydrating but occasionally suffers from issues where product gathers in lip lines or they don't go on as evenly as they could. There's a soft, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Ellarie
ColourPop Ellarie Lippie Stix ($6.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a medium-dark burgundy with cool undertones and a natural sheen. It had good pigmentation in a single layer, though the shadow of my lip freckle was apparent. The consistency was lightweight, emollient enough not to tug during application, but it didn’t feel creamy or slippery either. I had a touch of product in my deeper lip line, but I couldn’t tell from a normal viewing distance (just in the close-up photo). The color stayed on nicely for over six hours, left a fuchsia stain behind, and was lightly hydrating over time.

Such glam and lovely looking deeper reds! My favorite of the 2 has to be Ellarie. Although having MAC Diva and Slay Ride, I may be able to contain my urge to add another burgundy red….*maybe*. ?
What absolutely Diva shades are these? Beautiful and at such a perfect price too.
Wow Christine, you rock those colours! Wish I could do them as well.
Thank you, M!
I have Bichette and like it a lot although I haven’t worn it in a while so I might need to check it and make sure it is still good. It is a very comfortable lipstick to wear and I like dark, vampy colours even for day and summer. I don’t have Ellarie but it looks like something I would like also. When there are comfortable dupes of some of my favorite MAC lipsticks, I like to pick them up. That isn’t to say that I don’t still wear Diva but I have to use a balm to be comfortable. A slightly more emollient formula suites my taste better.
Wow, these are gorgeous (especially Ellarie) and look amazing on you, Christine!
There goes my collection increasing. I adore these lippie stix. For me, there isn’t anything like these around.
