Becca Garnet, Ember, Cranberry Ultimate Lipstick Love Reviews & Swatches
Garnet
Becca Garnet Ultimate Lipstick Love ($24.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium red with muted, warm undertones and a cream finish. The texture was creamy enough that it didn’t tug on my lips as I applied it, but the product didn’t move around noticeably while I had it on either, so it offered comfort and adhesion.
It had opaque color coverage that went on evenly and softened most of my lip lines. The color lasted well for six hours, left a faint stain behind, and felt hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$24.00/0.12 oz. - $200.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have an "ultra-creamy" texture with "eight-hour wear" and "pure color in one swipe." They're real bold with the "eight-hour wear" claim when it is a softer, creamier formula that's very comfortable to apply and to wear... and definitely not the longest-wearing formula I've come across--which is likely not a deal-breaker for those who aren't looking for long-wear.
The wear averaged between four and six hours with some of the deeper, richer shades (like a red or berry) lasting six hours or longer. They wore down evenly and were lightly to moderately hydrating while worn. The pigmentation was nearly opaque to opaque for most shades, and the majority of shades applied evenly and sat well on my lips without emphasizing my natural lip texture or settling into my lip lines.
They had a sweet, vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Cranberry
Becca Cranberry Ultimate Lipstick Love ($24.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a slightly muted, medium-dark red with subtle, warm undertones and a cream finish. The texture was incredibly smooth, creamy without being heavy or overly slippery, so it glided on readily but didn’t slide around while worn.
It had nearly opaque color payoff in a single stroke, which stayed on nicely for five and a half hours and felt hydrating over time.

All three are splendid shades of red, Garnet being a bit more unique to my collection, I think? My absolute favorite is Cranberry, though.
Cranberry was my pick, too!
oh man all of these are right up my alley. rats, how do i pick just one?
Remind yourself you have only one set of lips!!
Omg, alllll of these look gorgeous. I want each one lol
How I love a good red lipstick! It makes me happy to see them in the photos. Silly me š
Whenever I see reviews for the reds, I think I need them, and most of the time, I have dupes. I have dupes for all three, so I’ll pass on these for now. I am putting Cranberry on my wish list as it is recommended and some day I may have used up all my red lipsticks so I can buy a new one.
All three of these lipsticks are stunning – it would be hard to choose a favourite. Each one is fairly similar to the other in shade, just slightly different nuances. Excellent value too.
Ohhh, cranberry. These are so refreshingly consistent (and consistently good!).
Ok, I’ve never splurged on an upscale lipstick because to me, lip products aren’t meant to last all day and they are the one product I don’t mind reapplying. I usually stick to glosses and colored balms for that very reason – easy to reapply without a mirror without fear of looking like a clown afterwards.
BUT, when a lippie scores a 100? That is super tempting….
I am so attracted to lip colors now that I am seldom wearining makeup and alway eearing masks. What’s up with that? I have beautiful reds and I still love these also. I am very hard pressed to pick a favorite wo seeing them side by side. Of course, for the reasons above, I am not going to torture myself by trying them.
Thanks for the beautiful product reviews.
All are terrific, and they go on sale occasionally, too. Iām going to put on my dupes, to see if any need replacing! For the red-o-philes, these are heaven.
