Skintone: Light medium, yellow undertones. Dark brown hair & eyes.
Fave look: A shimmery fuchsia and purple eye with Colourpop It’s My Pleasure palette. Fan Fiction and Pretty Cruel blended into the crease and over my orbital bone, Bare Minimum in the outer corner and Eathshine over the mobile lid. I used a blend of shades from the Revolution Pro Mauve blush quad and Natasha Denona All Over Glow in Light as a highlighter. For lips, I went with Revolution Pro lipstick in Problematic, which is a gorgeous rosey burgundy satin, lightly blotted.
Most used: Ha ha, apart from my usual base products and mascara, I don’t think I used anything twice!
New discoveries: The Makeup Revolution Star Primer (the bright blue one) is amazing on my skin. Waaaaay better then VDL, Hourglass or anything else I’ve tried recently. It just works for me 😉
Skin Tone/Coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, salt & pepper hair
Favorite look: EYES: ABH Brow Wiz, MAC Omega in crease, MAC Blanc Type on lid, Lancôme Definicils Mascara. FACE: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder, Colourpop Super Shock Blush in Cruel Intentions. LIPS: MAC Matte Lipstick in Soar.
Most Used Products: ABH Brow Wiz, Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder, Colourpop Super Shock Blush in Cruel Intentions.
Beauty Discoveries: Colourpop Super Shock Blush in Cruel Intentions And MAC Soar Lipstick work really well together on me.
Skin tone: Very fair with neutral undertones, grey hair and dark brown eyes.
Favorite look: I broke out my ABH Mod Ren palette that I haven’t used in a hot minute and did a look with most of the orange/brown shades in the palette. I primed the lid with NYX Waterproof Primer, then used Vermeer on the mobile lid, Realgar and Cyprus Umber on the outer V and crease, Tempera on the brow bone and Primavera on the inner corners. I used the Stila Stay All Day liner in black and Thrive Causemetics mascara with my Cover Girl Super Sizer Waterproof mascara. For my base I used the L’Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear (still waiting on the right shade but this isn’t so far off that I look whacko wearing it), blush was Milani Coral Cove which I purchased a long time ago, wore once and then put it in a drawer. I am usually not a coral person but before I declutter it I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t use it. It was okay. I still don’t love myself in coral shades but my daughter said it looked great so probably a bias on my part. I used the Fenty Lavender powder to set under my eyes and Thrive Causemetics Loose Powder to set the rest of my face. I didn’t bronze or contour. For lipstick I used MAC Whirl which pulls pretty brown on me so worked with the eye look and blush. Overall, I liked how it turned out.
Most used products for the week: The L’Oreal Infallible foundation and my good old stand by’s MAC Fix + and Guerlain Meteorites in 02 Claire.
Beauty discoveries: None this week.
Skin tone Medium tan with neutral undertones
Most used product this week ?I got a sample of Guerlain’s Le Essenualies Foundation and have been testing it out this week.
The Foundation is a tad warmer and has a bit more glow that my usual , even though it’s a neutral.
So I’ve been playing with some of my warmer lipsticks , like my Tom Ford Extra Rich lipstick in Le Mepris or my Pupa Volume lipstick in Coral Blush # 601.

??? ?????? ??????????? (??? ?? ???): ??? — I’m still working on using my NARS NARSissist Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow Palette more. I try for at least once a week. It’s definitely one that I have to augment with more colorful shadows. I’m also finding it useful for when other palettes don’t have a brow bone or inner corner shade for me. I’m hating it less, and at least I’m finding some uses for it. The shadows win as inidividuals, the palette was just not balanced very well. Subra is still disappointing in that it is brown on me instead or plum, but I’m finding I like it better when I use it to set and smudge out more reddish or plummy eyeliners pencils.
Absolutely agree about Subra Rachel – I was so, so disappointed when I purchased it as a single (when looking for a plum shade last year) and it turned out to be this muddy brown mess…..all I had to do was purchase the Maybelline Burgundy Bar, which is sensational by the way, and I found my perfect plum shade with a bunch of beautiful golds, champagne and taupe shades. AND – Subra single was $25 here and the whole Maybelline palette was $14….
Right?! Subra had such a pretty plum pearl when so many bloggers were reviewing it. But sometimes those shades turn brown on me. I’d love to try Burgundy Bar, but I can never find it in stock anywhere. It must be good!
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral preferring cooler tones.
Favorite look from the week: I’ve been really into green, so I did a green look based on a nikkimakeup on Instagram look. I used Sydney Grace’s Bravo and Captain mattes to line my eyes and go and create a false crease. Then I used MAC Sumptuous Olive on the false lid I created and then the dark green matte from the Viseart Petite Pro 3. Then I used Armania Luminous Silk in 2, which has apparently become my favorite foundation. I set with my beloved TF Ethereal setting powder, which is back in my life thanks to Ulta. I then used Besame Sunkissed to warm up the face and MUFE 3c lipliner.
Your most used product this week: Buxom Mudslide lip gloss
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): I got my TF Ethereal setting powder back during the ULTA sale and frogot how lovely it is.
Sounds beautiful Korinne. Love those green shades you chose.
I’m loving the sound of your green eye look!
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favourite look from the week: Starting to get into my autumn shades: I used my Vice 2 and put a very light touch of Derailed on the lid (taupe), Damaged (bottle green shade) on the lower lid, with Strike (Gold) in the crease. Used the Colour Pop Brick lipstick (warm brown). Very happy with the result.
Your most used product this week: All my staples.
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): That I really like the pairing of blue and green and I use different palettes to get a different take on these shades: Lorac Pro Metals (Clover and Cobalt); bareMinerals Soft and Smokey (Mysterious Sky – Smokey Blue and Midnight Luminance -Green Teal shimmer) and of course, my Summer fave Dior’s Bonne Etoile with the teal and mint shades.
Your eye look sounds really lovely.
Your skin tone/coloring: above, with freckles, green/blue/gray eyes, warm brown hair
Favorite look from the week: for my favorite look, I had glowy skin, a sparkly topper on my eyes, lots of mascara, loaded on the ND Bloom palette and then wore a bright warm pink matte lip. Very spring/summery!
Your most used product this week: The Colourpop Sweet Talk palette and ND Bloom palette.
Any beauty discoveries… That my skin look so much better when I use less amount of base product than I think I need. Any tiny bit of too much product results in foundations/concealers gathering at weird places on my face and/or looking cakey.
