Huda Beauty Warm Browns Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette Review, Photos, Swatches
Warm Browns
Huda Beauty Warm Browns Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette ($27.00 for 0.35 oz.) is–shockingly–a warm-toned neutral palette with eight matte shades and one shimmery shade. The eyeshadows were quite good, and my only “con” was that I felt the denser consistency of the lone shimmery shade didn’t work quite as well with all the mattes (not uncommon) and the darkest matte could have been more pigmented (but it was buildable and worked better in practice than swatched).

Warm Browns #1
Warm Browns #1 is a medium-dark red with warm undertones and a matte finish. Though the eyeshadow was powdery in the pan, it blended out nicely on the lid and still had good pigmentation that was buildable to full coverage with a second layer. It lasted well for eight and a half hours on me.

Warm Browns #3 is a rich, medium-dark orange-red with warm undertones and a matte finish. The pigmentation was opaque in a single layer, while the texture wasn’t too soft or too firm in the pan, so it applied evenly and blended out well. The color stayed on well for eight and a half hours on me.

Warm Browns #4
Warm Browns #4 is a deep brown with subtle, warm red undertones and a matte finish. It had medium, buildable pigmentation with a soft but powdery texture. That powderiness made it a bit of a mess in the pan, but it was built up and blended out well in practice that I don’t imagine most will struggle with it (unless one wanted it as an all-over the lid color). It wore well for eight hours on me.

Warm Browns #5
Warm Browns #5 is a rich, medium copper with warm, orange undertones and a metallic sheen. The texture was moderately dense and more cream-like, so it was thicker compared to the mattes in the palette, but with enough blending and diffusing, I felt like it played well enough with the other eyeshadows. It had rich color payoff that lasted for eight and a half hours on me.

Warm Browns #9
Warm Browns #9 is a rich, coppery brown with warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. The eyeshadow seemed to take on a bit more of a natural shine compared to the other mattes in the palette, though if one had drier skin or primed skin, it would look more matte. It had rich pigmentation with a smooth, blendable consistency. This shade lasted for eight and a half hours on me.

I was hoping this would review well. While I already own a lot of warm neutrals, this is a great travel size, and I’d use every shade in this palette. It’s on my list, hope local store has it.
I hope you can find it in store, AB!
This was my favourite of them all. The brights one is beautiful too but the smoothness and pigmentation of this one won me over.
I can really see it being a go-to for anyone who likes warmer neutrals!
Very nice! Like a travel-friendly mini ABH MR Palette. I think I may just have to get it for a grab ‘n go, eye look on the run, fits in my purse palette. So far, I am loving all of Huda’s mini’s with the exception of Mauve.
I really love how compact they are! I didn’t feel like they were too small when working them, and they would be perfect for traveling.
Looks like Naked Heat comes in many guises …
I always say that there’s room for another high-quality palette when a trend is going strong!
This is a lovely set of shades and may be the perfect to test if/how these shades suit me.
Let us know if you try it, Tracey 🙂
Whilst this palette is definitely not for me, I can appreciate how useful it would be to others. It has a variety of finishes, a good range of warm tones and great ratings across the board.
Perhaps a better version of UD’s Heat? More travel friendly too.
Thank you for the review Christine and your eye look is stunning.
