Potion is a rich, deep orange with warm, red undertones and a mostly matte finish. There was barely-there micro-shimmer strewn through the powder, which I tend to find helps with blending but doesn't change the finish from matte on the lid itself. It had opaque color coverage in a single layer that applied well to bare skin and blended out nicely. It wore well for eight hours on me before fading.
