Coral Gypsophila

Givenchy Coral Gypsophila Le Rouge ($37.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a vibrant, medium-dark coral-orange with warm undertones and a shiny, cream finish. It was richly pigmented with nearly opaque pigmentation in one layer, which applied evenly and smoothly across the lips.

The Le Rouge formula is supposed to have “intense color” and a “semi-matte finish” in “one stroke.” I’ve been a fan of the Le Rouge formula for its high coverage, natural finish, and comfortable wear, and this summer’s limited edition shade was no exception. The lipstick was creamy, smooth, and lightweight with enough slip to glide on nicely but not so much that it slid around while worn. This shade wore well for five hours and was hydrating over time.

Formula Overview

$36.00/0.12 oz. - $300.00 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to have "intense color" with a "semimatte finish." Most shades are opaque with a few falling short of full coverage that apply evenly and last between four and six hours. The fomrula is lightly creamy to moderately creamy with some slip that is comfortable to wear and typically moisturizing over time. It has a floral scent but no discernible taste.

This shade looks really pretty on you. It is a little too bright for me but Givenchy Le Rouge is my favorite lipstick. I own several and they are really luxurious on the lips.
