Givenchy Coral Gypsophila Le Rouge Review, Photos, Swatches

Coral Gypsophila
Givenchy Coral Gypsophila Le Rouge ($37.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a vibrant, medium-dark coral-orange with warm undertones and a shiny, cream finish. It was richly pigmented with nearly opaque pigmentation in one layer, which applied evenly and smoothly across the lips.
The Le Rouge formula is supposed to have “intense color” and a “semi-matte finish” in “one stroke.” I’ve been a fan of the Le Rouge formula for its high coverage, natural finish, and comfortable wear, and this summer’s limited edition shade was no exception. The lipstick was creamy, smooth, and lightweight with enough slip to glide on nicely but not so much that it slid around while worn. This shade wore well for five hours and was hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$36.00/0.12 oz. - $300.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "intense color" with a "semimatte finish." Most shades are opaque with a few falling short of full coverage that apply evenly and last between four and six hours. The fomrula is lightly creamy to moderately creamy with some slip that is comfortable to wear and typically moisturizing over time. It has a floral scent but no discernible taste.

Christine, this shade is gorgeous on you ! It suits you so well 🙂 Glad to see it performs well.
Thank you, Nicole! 🙂
I didn’t have a chance to pick this one before the sale 🙁 the shade and packaging look gorgeous!
Awww!
This looks very pretty on you! Will go well with the peachy themed makeup that’s on trend right now
Thanks so much, Katherine!
I actually love this!!! And I’m normally terrified of anything orange/coral!!!
I love the healthy, smooth look on the lips!
The smooth look is one of the reasons I love Le Rouge!
This shade looks really pretty on you. It is a little too bright for me but Givenchy Le Rouge is my favorite lipstick. I own several and they are really luxurious on the lips.
Thank you, Maria! I wish they’d add more shades!
This shade only is gorgeous, but I love how it pairs with the actual tube it comes in. Such complementary colors!
The tube is a nice detail!
This shade is stunning! I’d love to see more nude / peachy coral shade that would be perfect for everyday! Shades like this are stunning for the summer!
This screams summer!
Ohhh, that looks great on you!
Thanks, Erin!
That is a divine shade of coral/orange – really vibrant for summer. Love it.
Totally perfect for summer!
Being that I’ve got at minimum, 4 dupes of this lipstick, I probably won’t get it. But it is definitely one of the most beautiful coral lipsticks I’ve ever seen!
And I’ve got to tell you that this lipstick, and indeed, this entire look you put together has you looking positively radiant! ✨
Wowwwwww ….. This is soooo prettyyyyy on you C
So pretty ! If I didn’t already have and love Bite Peche it would be mine.
So very pretty on you!
I really love this whole look on you, especially with that Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham Saffron Sun Bronzer.
I love the formula on these Givenchy lipsticks. The color is so vibrant. That packaging is absolutely perfect for spring❣️
Utterly gorgeous!
This shade is too bright for me, but I love how it combines with the packaging. The Le Rouge formula is so nice.
