NARS Cours du Soir Kohliner ($26.00 for 0.01 oz.) is a dark, mossy green with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation in one stroke, which was buildable to opaque coverage with two to three passes. The consistency was smooth, creamy without being too wet, and comfortable to use on the lower lash line and waterline.
The Kohliner formula is supposed to be a "creamy eyeliner that is "buildable" and "blendable" that can be used on the lash line as well as on the waterline. The description seemed rather apt, and I like that they described it as buildable. It was definitely an eyeliner that could be smudged if done so shortly after applying (I would apply it to one eye at a time, if you wanted to smudge or diffuse the edges). On me, the color wore well for six hours on my waterline and eight hours on my lower lash line.
