NARS Rouge Improbable Moon Matte Lipstick ($28.00 for 0.09 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark red with cool, bluish undertones and a semi-matte finish. This shade had just a bit of sheen compared to the other shades, though it was still more matte than a satin (hence the semi-matte descriptor!). It had mostly opaque coverage, but you could see the outline of my lip freckle slightly. The consistency was smooth, velvety, and easy to apply, and while it lasted a long time (seven hours) and did not move around easily, it wasn't uncomfortable.
