Red Ink is a bright, medium red with cool, blue undertones and a semi-matte finish. The formula was watery and thin in the container, and it took about 15 minutes to dry down on lips, but even after a half hour, it had not dried down on my arm (which is why the swatch has more sheen). Initially, it looked rather streaky, but it seemed to even out as it dried. After it dried down, the product didn't feel clingy or dry, but it was still thin and lightly tacky for another 15-20 minutes. It had semi-opaque color coverage, and I didn't experience any feathering or bleeding over the seven hours it lasted. The formula felt drying to me after four hours of wear.
