What a week!!! TF Honeymoon, CP Kathleen Lights Where The Night Is and MAC Flamingo Park all hit it out of the ballpark! ?
A good week for eyes 😀
Good week, indeed! Still can’t take my eyes off that Honey Moon quad.
It’s a beauty!
I see a theme in colors. How do they do this if collections are planned at least 1-2 years in advance? Five years ago, who made the formulas and decided? Is everyone in on it? Baffled that planning this years in advance could be true.
If you’re in the industry, there is a lot more that goes on behind the industry or industry publications that would help you do so 🙂 Not to mention, spring/fall/summer/winter colors are more typical than not. It’s rare that brands really reinvent the wheel in every season! Pastels for spring, bronze for summer, plums for fall, gold and silver and red for holiday.
Now that makes sense. A hidden networking of sorts could seem to do it combined with usual seasons. Collections seem to pop out of nowhere sometime. Or they are conveniently with products similar to most others. Some are random. Pantone is for painters.. Not makeup. Last year matched Marsala though. I think. Wish I could observe a few rounds of brainstorming and decisions being made!
