MAC Spring Flock Blush

MAC Spring Flock Blush ($22.00 for 0.21 oz.) is described as a “light bright coral.” It’s a light-medium, pinky-coral with warm undertones and a satiny sheen. It had good pigmentation with a soft, lightly powdery consistency that applied evenly, smoothly, and blended out easily but did not look powdery on the skin. The color started to fade after eight hours of wear. MAC I'll Hold My Breath #2 (LE, ) is more shimmery, darker (95% similar). Tarte Skillful (LE, $29.00) is darker (95% similar). MAC What I Fancy Blush ($22.00 for 0.21 oz.) is described as a “soft bright apricot.” It’s a light-medium pink with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had a very “strawberry milk” color to it. The texture was soft, silky, and smooth, but it was a little more powdery than other shades in the launch. I don’t think it looked that way applied, and it blended nicely on the skin, though it tended to sheer out a little and was harder to keep at full intensity. This shade lasted well for eight hours. LORAC Wavelength (LE, ) is more shimmery (95% similar). KIKO 109 Candy Rose (P, $12.00) is cooler (95% similar). KVD Beauty Poe (Light) (DC, ) is cooler (95% similar). LORAC Tinge (PiP, $23.00) is lighter (95% similar). Guerlain Morning Rose (P, $52.00) is more shimmery, darker (90% similar). Dior Intemporalle (LE, $65.00) is more shimmery, lighter, more muted (90% similar). Benefit Dandelion (PiP, $29.00) is warmer (90% similar). MAC Cheeky Devil (LE, $30.00) is more shimmery, lighter (90% similar). Makeup Geek Blind Date (P, $10.00) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). Milani Berry Rays #4 (PiP, ) is darker, more muted (90% similar). MAC Lotus Blossom (LE, $40.00) is cooler (90% similar). MAC Wall of Desire (LE, $24.00) is darker, more muted, warmer (90% similar). MAC Lesson in Love (LE, $24.00) is more shimmery (90% similar). Glossier Puff (P, $18.00) is darker, glossier (90% similar). MAC Sugar or Syrup (LE, $24.00) is more shimmery, cooler (90% similar). MAC Modest Blush (LE, $29.00) is more shimmery, darker (90% similar). MAC Launch Away (LE, $24.00) is cooler (90% similar). By Terry Savannah Love #1 (LE, ) is more shimmery, darker (90% similar). Sydney Grace Mauve Delight (P, $9.00) is lighter, more muted (90% similar). Make Up For Ever B206 (P, $23.00) is lighter, cooler (90% similar). Top 20 dupes listed, see the rest. MAC’s Powder Blush formula is supposed to be easy to apply, long-wearing, and have “fantastic colour.” It’s hard to generalize for MAC’s blush formula, because it varies a lot from shade to shade, even within different types of finishes! Some of them are very good, others are so-so, and a few are complete misses. The more frosted/shimmery shades tend to have the softest and smoothest textures and are easier to apply and blend out on the skin, while more satin and matte shades can sometimes be powdery, firm, or stiff, which makes blending more challenging. The wear is typically between six and nine hours but closer to seven to eight hours on average.

Spring Flock caught my eye immediately. I already have Daydream and Diffused Heat, so I am covered! I use them frequently and love them both.
Thanks for saving me ‘folding money’, as my mom used to say. ?

These are pretty. I especially think that What I Fancy is a very pretty color, but, unfortunately, it would probably look much more orange on me than it does on you, Christine, and orange is not a good color for me, especially in a blush. But I might have to try it out just to make sure, assuming it makes it to my local MAC counter, because I really like it.

My local counter is in the Macys in a very small mall, it seems to get a relatively small selection of LE products. I did manage to find out approximately where the MAC store in Philly went too, though, it seems to be temporarily located in a pop-up store. I might be able to find it next week — it’s not that close to the area I usually shop in.

Spring Flock is really pretty, don’t have anything like it. I think I’m going to have to pick it up, as the dupes didn’t rate as high, were LE, and/or a lot more expensive

I too love Spring Flock! I do already have a mini dupe in Too Faced’s Love is all you need but that’s quite a bit darker. Tempted to get this… help!

What I Fancy is nice too with a nice name but I’d go for Spring Flock!

Christine, if you had to guess, what are the two blushes that the model is wearing in the promo photo? I love the combination, but it’s hard to tell which they are exactly.
